I feel like I have just left my family behind...... My husband, teenage son and I have just spent 10 days at BaanBooLoo, it was everything we wanted. Orn, Adisak and Louie provided the perfect environment for the holiday we were looking for. It is a great central location for exploring the city. They gave us advice and answered questions,... Orn, the manager made sure our stay was perfect. She and her staff made sure breakfast was fantastic to start our day and then helped us on setting up our travels I'm Chiang Mai. She recommended travels/ experiences we never would have known about(i.e. Karen's elephant village and many different tours to temples) We gave her an idea of the... More

It's hard to find but it's worth the search. Baanbooloo is a quirky little guesthouse on a back lane in old city of chiangmai surrounded by lovely gardens. We stayed in the two story guesthouse with bunk beds on first floor for the kids and a nice queen on the second floor for us. The bedroom has a lovely porch... More

This place is not a traditional hotel. But it is perfect. My wife and I stayed here for three nights during a recent trip and had the time of our lives! Our room (Executive Suite) was perfect for us. Not HUGE like some expensive hotels, but quaint and perfect! There was also a very large (maybe bigger than the room)... More

Stayed at BaanBooLoo for 5 nights in November. This was my 2nd visit to this stunning guest house which in my opinion would be the best in Chiang Mai. BaanBooLoo is in a fabulous location in the old city where it is an easy walk to restaurants, temples and other tourist attractions. The famous night market on 'walking street' is... More

we had a wonderfully relaxing stay here. really enjoyed the staff, time with other guests, great local food and the quiet family atmosphere at baan boo loo. we spent a great deal of time in the shady garden, which was a nice retreat after a few hours shopping or sight seeing

The reason why we selected this place was because it was highly rate on trip advisor - and we understand why! We arrived late after a long day of travel, and were welcomed by our host and quickly felt "at home". The place is beautiful, the breakfast delicious (a mix of local and western taste). We stayed 5 nights in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights with our baby and am glad we chose this guesthouse! The guesthouse is located in the old city, near to the Sunday market, very convenient (though i guess anywhere in the old city is convenient). But they are in a quiet lane so u get away from the hustle of the city every night... More

I found the price high but the moment I stepped in, I never regretted spending the money at Baan Boo Loo. The management had clearly put careful thought into the details of this place- from the welcome drink to the rooms itself to the food and toiletries. Everything was of a high quality and nothing was compromised. A staff greeted... More

If you want something different rather than staying in the "same same" style hotel, then stay here! We stayed in two of the different rooms. They were both build beautifully and the decor suited perfectly. Staff were really lovely. Would stay here again!
