The stay in the dorm was something for the backpacker heart. There wasn;t any mosquito anywhere, no bed bugs, big Fans adjusted on the wall on every dormbed. It was quiet, it was very clean and the dorm has its own toilet and shower ensuite. A nice place to socialize. This is the spot for backpackers. 100 THB per night. Great... More

If you're a budget traveler this is your spot. For 500 baht we got a room for 3 people, a/c, and a hot shower. Pretty clean and the a/c kicks! The lobby is the perfect place to hang out too. Also the staff was super friendly and helped us book a few different things. Can get a big noisy but... More

It goes like this. If you're a total dirtbag, you'll get what you asked for. If you can act like a normal human being and treat the workers with respect, you will actually get a good service. **** If you're thinking that guest houses and hostels are like they're supposed to be 5 star hotels, i'll strongly recommend you to... We had read about the bed bugs after we had checked in, so we were watching carefully in the evening. There were many bed bugs running over the bed, and we also found many dead ones below. We left around 11 p.m. to search for another room. We were offered another room, and when we said we don't want it... More

Bed was a bit hard, and it was hot even with the fan, but our stay was good and the owners are very friendly. Willing to help you find activities, book tickets to go on a trip, etc. Clean, and easy to find. It is close to some good Thai massage places, and the Saturday night market.

We spend more then a week in Chiang Mai. We chose this J.J's Guesthouse because the dorm was only 100 baht a night. The dorm was basic, but clean. The little 'garden' is the only place the wifi works, so many people sit here and you can make friends. The staff isnt very nice, try to sell a lot of... More

First went to Julie's Guesthouse but was already fully booked. Went to JJ's Guesthouse, only 100 baht a night for a dorm. The garden in front of the hostel is nice to meet other people and most of the time crowded and you can buy different kind of drinks. On the other hand the staff is very, very, very rude... More

As everyone is saying on here, the staff are terrible - incredibly unhelpful and rude. But a dorm for 100 baht a night is pretty good going. Wifi only works downstairs and there's no toilet roll but it's good enough when on a budget. Divas hostel is just around the corner for cheap and nice food and better staff.

Only stay here if there's nothing else available as it was for us. Spend a little extra and after a bit more looking you will find a nice quiet place close by. The staff are in for business only so there's no friendship made, the ugly fat woman on the tour desk complained when we took our laundry elsewhere (they... More
