The FO staff especially K. Meaw was so helpful right from the reservation process. Many advises and recommendations were given out then. Thanks to her we had the most beautiful corner room. The rest of the staffs were also helpful and attentive. K. Eye was another great lady at the front desk. She had been assisting us with motorbike rental,... More

Time is fleeting is it not? Especially when on vacation it seems to go too fast but what if we could for a moment have the illusion of stopping the clock and perhaps even go back to Yesterday? That is exactly what I did, go to Yesterday. This is the other accommodation (besides Gerard Habitat see review) that I tried... More

My family and I just had a great stay@Yesterday last week. We just loved it! All the antiques and old-fashioned furnitures are manigficent! The location is very good, surrounded with many restaurants. It took less than 10 minutes to the walking street. Staffs are friendly and kind. The coffee shop ; "Coffee Wish" in front of the hotel, was nice... More

The hotel is in a pretty good location of Nimmanhemin road, actually their entrance is a few steps from the main road which is a good thing and bad thing. If you have been to Chiang mai, you know how bad the traffic gets in these past few years. So if you drive and try to pull your car in or our... More

we stayed in the penthouse at yesterday for 3 nights, absolutely loved it! It was like stepping back in time & everything was exactly as shown on their website. Breakfast was outside overlooking the busy street. It was very easy to get anywhere from the hotel as transport was readily available just outside the entrance. Look forward to coming back... More

I love this hotel so much I almost don't want to give it a great review because I don't want it to become swamped. In a great area, removed from the tourist hordes but still in a vibrant and cool part of the city. It's a fabulous, atmospheric, cute, and creative. The best place I have stayed in Chiang Mai,... MMM What to say about this hotel - The reviews were pretty good and it was fairly cheap and was in the area we needed to be so I booked it - I can understand this being a bit of a hit with young people but I was alive when what they have placed in yesterday to remind of us... More

Located in one of the upscale areas of the town, it was a delight to walk around for food, local shopping etc.... The hotel itself has a "retro" character and the management is taking good care of the antique collection. The staff was very helpful in finding another taxi guy when the guy we fixed ditched us in the morning.... More

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are all decorated in a retro style which is well done. The hotel feels very well maintained and the staff are attentive. Because of the high ceiling we had in our room it definitely felt bigger than it was. Only drawback was the window which didn't really let in much light as... More

The Yesterday hotel was such a great welcome to Chiang Mai! I've been twice now and I love this part of the city - You get a much more authentic/local feel to it than staying in the heart of the Old City. It's still only a short tuk-tuk ride to the Old City if you do want to go there... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Like no others, Yesterday Hotel is, in many ways, represented the influential era of Thai identity during the mid 80s. The most impressive thing about the hotel might not be only its superb convenient location in the heart of the hip city centre area, Nimmanhaemin, where hundred of chic cafes and small shops are surrounded, but it would be also the sum of its elements and services that are inspired by Thai good old days. The building itself was long known as an international kindergarten and has been renovated into the 25-room boutique hotel since 2008. While the exterior is the mixtures of Thai and Colonial architecture, the interior are somewhat cultural unique. Hanging on the wall of each room, the pictures are the collection of the "Mana-Manee", 20 years ago Thai-primary school textbook and illustrates. The antique furnishings from decorative lamps to non-identical handicraft beds simply remind the visitors of such an era of Thai children culture and nationalism. However, the modern comfortable stay is not overlooked. All services such as free Wifi, electronic door lock, bicycle, safety box, hair dryer, complimentary herbal hot drinks, 24-hour front desk together with many of other amenities and services come as standard in the Deluxe room type and above. Despite the fact that Yesterday Hotel tries its best to provide the most convenient location and comfy stay; above all, for those visitors who are long wishing to wake up oneself childish soul, perhaps... this might be the place. ... more   less
