This hotel served us well for our 3 day holiday in Chiang Mai. It has a good central location and just 5km from Chiang Mai international airport. It is walking distance to many shops and eateries. It is about a 40 minute walk to the night bazaar. The pool is small and the rooms fit only 2 people. The buffet... More

We stayed for 3 nights and choose the hotel for the pool. We arrived around 12 noon but had to wait 2 hours until the official check in time as the room wasn't ready. The room is adequate. It is a little on the small side and feels tired. But the bathroom can really use an update. It looked dirty... More

Lovely destination with quiet gardens and good pool. Surprisingly quiet with few guests in evidence. Excellent food served with quiet efficiency. Ideal location for a few days of relaxation if you have been in the bustle of Bangkok and before the trek up North.

first the good... We liked the room. It was a little small but really ok. The shower was GREAT, really good water pressure and nice and hot. The room included all the normal stuff to be expected in a nice hotel and I loved the shower supplies because they were herbal and plentiful! We found the swimming pool to be... More

Dear lovely guests, Sorry for your bad experience with our reception staffs. Normally, they work so well with customers. However, some of new staffs may not have a good negotiation skill. For extended guests, normally we will give a discount. However, in your case if you were given a higher prices, it might be that the same room type you... More

Close to most things and could walk to all the main wats. Rooms large but dated needs good lick of paint shower excellent but rest if bathroom needs attention. We were by the pool area which had a fish pond and bridge outside the patio area which was lovely but did attract the mozzies! We brought cans of mozzie room... More

Dear lovely guests, Normally, in this raining season there are quite a lot of mosquitos. In our room has a warning sign about them and tell the guest not to open the door if not necessary in the twilight time (evening time). We will try our best to deal with this problems and sorry for your hard time here. Therer... More

The location is great, a short walk to the night market (on sundays) and tons of activity along the streets. The staff is very helpful and helped me arrange a private car to take me to some of the sights slightly outside of Chiang Mai that I wanted to see (at a reasonable rate) The rooms are sort of boutique... De Lanna is convenienlty located in the old town part of Chiang Mai. As we were only staying one night, this suited our requirements. We booked a deluxe suite which is of a comfortable size albeit tired and in need of repair, for our time of stay. Although the room may have been a good size, unfortunately the bathroom was... More

Dear lovely guests, Sorry for your bad experience while staying with us. You may in the old building room which is needed to be repaired and refurbished for the tired furniture and painting (which we have plan to do it in the mid of May 2016). Normally, when we received a complaint about the LOUD noise made by a group... More

I stayed 5 nights in this hotel. This hotel is excellent: - beautiful decoration and surroundings - very friendly and accommodated staff - very good wifi all day long and all throughout the hotel - good breakfast. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel; the staff makes you feel special and not like a number. I will come back and... More

The De Lanna is a beautiful property, but it is relatively very expensive. I think it gets away with it because it is one of the few large properties within the Old Chiang Mai city section. It is not far, but not exactly next door to the most vibrant streets, which are found closer to the west and south gate... More

Dear lovely guests, Thank you for your comments. If you compared us with B&B and/or Guesthouses nearby around the city center area, we will definitely have a higher price. However, if you compare us weight to weight to the same 4-star hotels/resorts in the same area, you will find that our prices are relatively lower than those 4-stars in the... More

This hotel was great. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and restaurant. We had breakfast included in the morning, and that was also great food. The only thing I did not like was the mattress I had. Since there was three of us in the room I slept on the floor. The "mattress" was about 3 inches thick and beneath that was... More

Dear lovely guest, Thank you for your comments. Normally, if you were in the room with the lifted wooden floor (room number 204,205,304,305, 201,212,301,312), the mattress will be rest on that wooden floor without the bed. This is an asian Thai or Japanese style that will sleep with the mattress on the floor. For our normal mattress is 8 inch... More
