Beautifully decorated hotel that made it a joy to return to each day. Close to temples (though everywhere is close to a temple in Chiang Mai!) but you'd need a tuk tuk/scooter to get you to the street markets and Night Bazaar. It would have been nice if the reception staff understood a bit more English to offer recommendations on... More

What an awesome hotel. Great staff who look after you. Not to mention, lovely rooms, clean, cool and quiet. Very close to Sunday night markets, thought can be far to other places in CM, but that's what a tuk tuk is for, right? It has a awesome pool and good little bar. I know where I'll be staying if returning... More

Don't be put off by the basic reception area, this hotel has plenty to offer. Clean and comfortable bedroom with a balcony to sit out and relax after a busy day. Plentiful breakfast to suit everyone's tastes. A lovely poolside garden where we enjoyed a delicious meal which was really well presented and such good value for money. We had... More

De Lanna was one of the only hotels on our trip that I can actually say I wish I had not stayed at for numerous reasons, making for a disappointing 8 days. The hotel definitely looks much better in photos, once you get there it looks quoie aged. It is advertised as a 4 star luxury hotel, however i found... More

Dear lovely , Sorry for your disappointing while staying with us. We already improved our toilet room in the old building (While you were staying in January was not yet refurbishing). Also the breakfast has been improving from that time (variety of food, taste, and demonstationg food). For our staffs, mostly they do their duty well and always look after... More

We stayed at the De Lanna for 4 nights in March 2015. The hotel was perfect and the staff lovely. It is positioned perfectly, the food in the restaurant is great, breakfast has a wide variety. I would definitely stay again.

On a two-week trip to Thailand, we stayed here three nights and loved the experience. It seemed to us a quintessential Thai experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, but with a simple beauty that we enjoyed. Pro: comfy bed and spacious room, quiet, good maid service, excellent breakfast (free). Con: the bathroom is rather small; one must move out... More

Want to stay somewhere central in Chiang Mai? This place has it all on the doorstep. Fantastic staff, great rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, outdoor pool, tour desk. More than I expected for the price. I'll definitely stay here again!

A very comfortable, well-managed property in a quiet corner of the old city. It's kind of wedged-in on a side street and is pretty compact, but has a lot of nice touches: a decent pool, koi ponds surrounding the rooms in the old wing (a great natural way of cutting down on mosquitos.) Nice outdoor seating area for breakfast. I... More

Dear lovely guests, In the mean time, we will add another Internet provider for our Wifi seperate between two buildings. It has a lot of problem as you said so when it was in the high traffice time since we use only one provider cover on both buildings. For our breakfast coffee, we use an instant coffee with its automatic... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The whole building and grounds are full of charm and character and the hotel really does have an excellent boutique feel to it. The rooms are very contemporary and unique in their decor and you can't help loving them. We had a balcony facing the courtyard and swimming pool which was good... More
