I stayed 5 nights in this hotel. This hotel is excellent: - beautiful decoration and surroundings - very friendly and accommodated staff - very good wifi all day long and all throughout the hotel - good breakfast. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel; the staff makes you feel special and not like a number. I will come back and... More

The De Lanna is a beautiful property, but it is relatively very expensive. I think it gets away with it because it is one of the few large properties within the Old Chiang Mai city section. It is not far, but not exactly next door to the most vibrant streets, which are found closer to the west and south gate... More

Dear lovely guests, Thank you for your comments. If you compared us with B&B and/or Guesthouses nearby around the city center area, we will definitely have a higher price. However, if you compare us weight to weight to the same 4-star hotels/resorts in the same area, you will find that our prices are relatively lower than those 4-stars in the... More

This hotel was great. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and restaurant. We had breakfast included in the morning, and that was also great food. The only thing I did not like was the mattress I had. Since there was three of us in the room I slept on the floor. The "mattress" was about 3 inches thick and beneath that was... More

Dear lovely guest, Thank you for your comments. Normally, if you were in the room with the lifted wooden floor (room number 204,205,304,305, 201,212,301,312), the mattress will be rest on that wooden floor without the bed. This is an asian Thai or Japanese style that will sleep with the mattress on the floor. For our normal mattress is 8 inch... More

The hotel was beautiful and near Wat Singh which made it easy for tuk tuk drivers to take you back. THe complimentary breakfast is delicious. The rooms are spacious and have air condiioning and they all have private balconies. They forgot to make up our room once an took 3 hours to get someone to make it up. The woman... More

Dear lovely guests, Thank you for your comments. In the case of forgetting to make up a room, I did check with our maid and it came out that they did knock your door 1-2 times for asking to make up your room. However, you spent most of the time in your room in that day and told them "Next"... More

This was our second stay at this property. We choose our hotels carefully in Thailand, because the hot weather means we spend long afternoons recouping in our rooms. We require more than a mere place to rest our heads. The rooms are spacious, with outside seating areas replete with fans. I like that my husband and I can spread out... More

We have stayed at Delanna two years in a row and have had a marvelous experience each time. It's a beautiful property in a great location with a first rate staff. This year, Thita, a new assistant manager went out of her way to help us to the point that she deserves special recognition. She assisted us with everything from... More

I felt I was over charged for my room, When I queried why I was charged more for my room which I paid in advance for one night, than the published rate on the hotel website, I was told the reason for the difference was due to a "morning-afternoon rate", yet I was charged for the remainder of my stay... Have been visiting my sister in Thailand and together we have been for two nights in De Lanna Hotel in Chiang Mai. For me it was the first time. But every time I am looking at pictures I am still amazed! The hotel is clean, open, easy to access, with friendly stuff and so much more than I expected. For... More

Some of the pictures are accurate: this place is cute and polished in a very typically chiang mai way...or so we thought until we reached room 408, which we had booked at a discount at last minute. We booked a twin room using hotels.com and were informed via email that only King rooms were available. They provided a roll-away bed... More

Dear lovely guests, Our room may have some problems since many guests have used it and we currently inspect and fix it when something is broken. However, sometimes our maids do not notice the problems and finally our guests found it while using the room. We apologize for not taking the best care of it and we will definitely make... More
