This accommodation was superb. We just spent seven nights at the Sakorn and loved everything about it. The rooms and common areas were spotless. They were so accommodating with the free breakfast and gave my dad two extra eggs every morning. The location is tucked in a bit but very easy to take a songtew, tuk tuk or rent a... More

Based on reviews, and availability for 3 person in one room, we booked this hotel online, We arrived in Chiang Mai bus station, and decided to take tuk-tuk (three wheels vehicle - common in Thailand) as transportation to the Sakorn since it's only < 3 km. the driver knew the place so we bargain the cost and ended up paying... I stayed at the Sakorn Residence for 7 nights and it was wonderful. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed, and the staff only to happy to please. The hotel is located within easy proximity of the large markets and ancient city. The hotel rates are reasonable, with a selection of both western and eastern breakfast options. In summary,... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. Booked 2 x two bedroom apartments which had 1 king bed in each bedroom. We had a roll away for 3rd child. The apartments are very spacious, large bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen & huge living dining area with a long balcony. We had two apartments on the 5th floor which were across the hall... More

I stayed a few days in May and was happy I booked this hotel. It's not very large, but the rooms are nice and clean. The customer service desk was always helpful and available if I had a question. The breakfast was generous and the staff very friendly. The location may not be as central as other locations, but I... More

Sakorn residence is a condo/apt building which also rents out rooms. We were quite surprised by the large size of the room, big refrigerator, nicely tiled bathroom with separate shower stall, double wide closet and even a towel drying rack on the balcony. The beds were on the hard side but what else is new in Thailand? The pool was... More

We stayed at the Sakorn Residence for 5 nights on our first trip to Chiang Mai. The hotel is quietly located on the opposite side of the river, about 25 minutes walk into the market area but an 80 -100 baht tuk tuk ride which are always readily accessible. The hotel is an easy walk to the popular riverside restaurants.... More

Nice and clean, breakfast included, beautiful pool! Front desk gave us a walking tour map with amazing recommendations in the area and we were able to take a TUK TUK to nearby places or walk with no problems. Quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay. The front desk also was able to help us book all of our tours.

This is a great hotel, very comfortable bed and pillows balcony for those of you who have the horrible habit of smoking BUT arriving at 9.30pm only to discover we had to walk down a couple of lanes to find a place to eat left us disappointed to say the least. Breakfast choice (la a cart) was limited and after... More
