Spent three nights her. On the Nimman street everything's is close by. Pubs, restaurants, shopping. Breakfast is varied, go for toast, salad, fruit or classic Thai/Chinese. The staff offered all kinds of egg. Rooms are kept clean. Spacious with aircon, fridge and TV with international channels.

Everything IS Fabulous Since Stepped In. Room Is Lovely With A Large Balcony To Enjoy The Overview Of The Area. Easy To Access Any Places Around And Services Are More Than Excellent. Feels Welcomed And Feels Like HOME. I Would Say This Is A MUST STAY Hotel When You Visit Chiangmai. Highly Recommend

We really looked forward to this trip back to Chiang Mai, the city we lived in for over one year over six years ago. Reading the reviews for this property and the excellent location I was sold on booking this. Little did we know that there so calledvwireless Internet did not pick up in room 306 and no hot water... I have stayed at Empire for 3 nights. It's was kind of a pleasant stay in terms of the location and the spacious room. Unfortunately, we have gotten a room with noisy aircon. Launched an complaint and was given a change to another room... same side but just 1 level up. Well...I can still hear the noise but now, it's... More

Very spacious rooms, with kitchenette and good bed. the kitchen/living area can be hot as there is no aircon. very friendly front office staff. breakfast is a bit monotonous. rates were relatively high, may be seasonal. loads of good restaurants and pubs around.

Spent 4 nights at the Empire Residence in August of 2014 and was so pleased with the entire visit! The location was really great - neighborhood is perfect location if you want to be in/around the ancient city with a small (30 baht) tuk-tuk ride to almost any location in the city. The rooms were really clean with comfortable beds... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall it's clean and nice. Not like 5 stars hotel but quiet and has its own way. Wifi is free. Breakfast is good. Stayed in deluxe room which is more like studio room. Bed is good. Bathroom is roomy. But without bathtub and not looking for one. Next to Tesco and many shops and restaurants... More

Ok location. Staff are typical of a Thai hotel I.e no initiative, could not be bothered to give good service. Have to ask for everything/anything. Very noisy from nearby bars, traffic, aircraft. Staff don't seem to even know what each room facilities entail. Check I as a couple and get one key card per room ,have to pay B300 deposit... More

Stayed there for a night and two. Tecso express is next to hotel building. Lots of coffee shop and little restaurant. Parking free. Room condition is old but clean. With hair dryer and clean towels. Coffee and tea making facility. Room comes with breakfast, for THB 1500 it's a good deal. Easy location from the express way. Will return and... More

Overall it was underwhelming The Rooms look nothing like the Pictures Online, The room was not warm or inviting, it had run down furniture and a bit dated. The Internet, forget it! The internet was the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel in Thailand, the Wifi was always connected but could only connect to web pages and email... More
