From the minute we got there Noi (the owner) was nothing but amazing! Her garden is so peaceful and tranquil, the rooms were a great size compared to some guest houses we have stayed in and she was so helpful! We booked 2 nights initially but ended up staying for 5, there's no where that compares to Rama guest house!... More

the only good thing about this place is the the garden. the rooms are small, the beds not clean and the female owner is one of the least friendly people I have ever met. she and her friends are hanging out in the garden most of the time and it feels lime she does not want to be bothered by... It's funny how peoples turn a review at there "advantage"........ You surprisingly forgot to write down why we asked you both couples to check out... The truth is, your kids and the other couple kid was noisy. You were in the garden, which is a relax and zen area for the customers, not a kidden garden, yes we not happy... More

Rama Guest House seemed like a tranquil retreat in the heart of Chiang Mai, complete with lovely garden and a quote on the stairwell that read, (ironically, we would realize later) "If you judge the people, you have no time to love them." Yet on the second night, things turned sour. My boyfriend and I were sitting in the courtyard... More

We stayed here a week and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The garden is lovely and the wifi is strong. The fan rooms are fine -- clean, large enough. But the price, 500 baht, is ridiculous. Indeed, I saw quite a few people walk in and walk out when they heard the price. Unbeknownst to me, it's easy... More

All Suriya (We called him RI-ya.) knew when he picked us up was our wish to ride the elephants. He quickly realized our interests were much broader. Yes, the elephant riding was lots of fun for my wife and me. The ox cart and river rafting were bonuses but these could be experienced with other tour companies. He recognized our... More

I and my family staid there first 2 nights and we made sure that on our return to Chang Mai to have 2 rooms booked. The place is a green oasis, basic but clean room, good hot shower but the cherry on the top is Noi, the owner/ receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly and took special care that... More

Unique and excellent. It's a nice and quiet hostel which is inside the old town. It is hostel's policy to be quiet at night, so I was able to have a very good night sleep. There's a small bar and very well-decorated garden in the hostel. The owner takes really good care of her hostel, and was very helpful. Only... More

Super friendly staff and everything you would want in a guest house. The Rama Tour with Ya was a great experience! Ya knows what to see and it was a pleasure learning about northern Thailand from him. We would highly recommend a tour with Ya while staying at the Rama Guest House.
