I stayed at Junior Guesthouse with my boyfriend for four nights this past January. Chiang Mai is an absolutely wonderful place (I could move there!) with a lot to do, so we didn't spend much time in our room. You get a pretty good deal for the price you pay. The A/C is quite strong, and there is even a... More

We have checked four budget hostels, this was absolutely the best. A double room for 400,- bath with private bathroom with a good bed (hard to find), fast wifi and warm shower in a very nice area. You can relax on the roof terrace with beautiful sunsets and a jacuzzi. The restaurant has very good food (pancake with pineapple is... More

We love this guest house. The staff is very nice and full of great information. The bed, though still firm, is the most comfortable we have slept on in Thailand. The rooms are nice and clean plus there is even a rooftop area for hanging out.

Be careful of the owner, he looks friendly at the beginning but he can also be really rude. Staff are always drinking and not really helpful with costumers. You can find better guest houses around there

We visited this guesthouse because our youngest son with his girlfriend was here a couple of years ago, and advised us to stay there. And he was right it is a nice place to stay with owners helping you in many ways (speak English very good), superfriendly. They picked-up us up at the airport for free. You could ask almost anything... More

Immediately after arriving, Jeff sat down with us and showed us all important locations on the map. Recommend being here on the weekend where the Saturday and (huge) Sunday market are just down the street and brings in more Thai locals than the tourist saturated night bazaar. Jeff helped us book our trips to the Tiger Kingdom and elephant riding.... More

From the moment we landed in Chiang Mai and met Tata with his warm smile at the arrivals gate we knew we had made the right decision. The transfer is around 15 minutes to the hotel and Tata gave us a great insight to the city along the way. Upon arrival we were introduced to Jeff and the rest of... More

Although basic board, this place has everything you need. It is in a great location - just 2 minutes from the north gate - and the staff were incredible. From arranging tours to calling our subsequent hotel for pickup information, they went above and beyond and deserve high praise!

Really loved our 4 day stay here. The location is great, yet because it is down a side street you can get a great nights sleep. The staff made the trip, extremely accommodating and informative and helped us book a few tours. There is also a rooftop jacuzzi which is free to all guests! The only reason why this place... More

geoff collected us from the train station and brought us straight to the guest house pointing out interesting things and landmarks along the way. We checked in and went for a sleep as we had done the sleeper train and where so tired. The rooms where dated but clean and tidy. The beds are a bit hard but that's our... More
