We had a fantastic time at the Junior Guest House. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure that we had a wonderful stay. We were picked up from the coach station by Jeff, and immediately received amazing assistance - first, he helped us book our next coach tickets back to Bangkok, and then he gave us a Thai lesson... Jeff and tartar are extremely good hosts and always willing to help. The rooms are nice and have their own smoking area. The food is amazing, however the only downside is that they stop serving at 8, but u have more than enough options to eat out in Chang Mai. The mopeds u can rent are extremely good value and... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and at home. Our room was spacious and clean with adequate amenities. The hosts helped us plan our stay in Chiang Mai and booked our tour to the local tribe village at a reasonable price. They were always eager to help in any way and had a happy atmosphere... More

I would like to say that the staff/owners were really nice people, and gave plenty of good recommendations about food and Chiang Mai in general. The rooms were a little in need to refurbishment, while there was a damp smell coming from the bathrooms/air conditioning. There was also a leak in the room's airconditioning. Other than that, the place was... More

Stayed for a few nights in late February on trip around Asia, and so far it's been the best place I've stayed by a long way. Jeffrey and TarTar are wonderful hosts, well connected to supply reliable advice and great prices for activity trips, and very friendly when travelling alone. Rooms are well appointed and even the ones without A/C... More

We had a very warm welcome from Jeff and Fine, and Tata. Very helpful - gave a map and some info on the area, booked a cooking course and elephant trip for us, and filled up the jacuzzi on the roof when we wanted to chill out! The room was ok - a little tired and in need of some... More

We spent a few nights at Junior Guest House in early/mid February and could not have asked for anything more. The room was basic and comfortable and clean, the location excellent, and the staff just phenomenal. Jeffery and Tata patiently answered our million questions, offered advice on things to see and where to get great khao soi, and they really... More

Unfortunately I only got to spend 1 night at Junior Guesthouse but wished it could have been longer. My standard room with AC on 3rd floor, was large, with overhead fan as well as AC, ensuite, small balcony, & 2 free bottles of water. There are many other guesthouses where I have found similiar facilities but few where I have... More

The people in this place is SO nice! We couldn't wish for more. Always ready to help. You don't need to plan anything from home under your stay in chiang mai. They can help you plan everything. These people are smiling all the time. Talks very good English and always ask how you are doing. We now have family in... More
