Enhance your visit to Chiang Mai with a stay at the 5-star Lotus Hotel connected to the mall. Start each day with free breakfast of a potpourri of foods from around the world--the best I've ever had. At the huge mall, enjoy shopping, food courts, and coffee shops, as well as the many interesting shops near the mall. Be sure... More

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Airport transfer available. Continental breakfast very basic (tea and toast). The scrambled egg ( 1 egg!) Was fine. Restaurant/bar food was good and nicely presented. Hotel is old Thai style and therefore very dark interiors so go slow on the stairs. Bedrooms are on three floors with no lift so third floor can be a... More

We booked our room for 10 days but I got sick so we had to come 3 days later. The staff was so helpfull and we didn't have to pay anything for the three nights. The hotel has a good location with walkingdistance to the beach and the partystreet. The room was cleen and big and the breakfast was okey.... More

I stayed here through New Years and was eagerly anticipating my first visit to Chiang Mai in this hotel. Highly disappointed. I had one of the loft rooms and it's not too bad. Lots of in room amenities to use but it needs some serious updating. (Although the bathroom looks pretty up to date, so no qualms there) I paid... More

It was new year's eve and it's a last minute thing. So I didn't have a choice in the room or price. Spend 2 nights at this hotel. I chose this hotel because their website photos looked impressive and it's opposite a gay bar. The reception was courteous and intuitive. I was given important information without asking. The room was... More

Unless it is important for you to stay across the street from a gay bar. The room I stayed in was cold, noisy, not cleaned well and generally a little long in the tooth except a new floor. The mattress was shot, caved in toward the middle and squeaked with every turn. There were ants in the bathroom. The small... More

Booked for 2 nights. The room had a dreadful damp smell. It was very noisy and the bed was damp, hard and uncomfortable. We stayed only the first night and moved to a 5 star hotel at not much more money for the second night. No refund offered of course from the prepaid fee. The one star is because of... More

Lotus is a charming and relaxing boutique hotel with a lot of character. Each room has a different theme and is unique. The staff are very friendly, efficient and are more than happy to just arrange you a simple tuktuk or what ever you want. The bar is a great place to hang out in the evening and chat to... More

The Lotus Hotel was again my home (Jan 8 - Mar 17, 2013) for my stay in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After staying at the Lotus last year, this was the only hotel I considered this year. Both times, it has been like a home-away-from-home. It was great not being in a large hotel where there are hundreds of people. Here,... More

I have stayed at the lotus Hotel for years when vacationing. This January 14-Febuary 13 2013, I had to cut my trip short due to family emergency. The staff and owner were understanding and very helpful for my quick return back to the USA. I've already booked a room for 2014. The Lotus Chang-Phuak is a great Hotel with the... More
