Nocky attracts both long and short term stayers, so it has a social atmosphere there - people you can talk to, and maybe do things with. It has trees and plans and in a sense shady, but the rooms can be quite humid and hot without A/C. 100 Baht for dorms, 80 if you bring a tent and paid 300... More

You get what you pay for. I paid 100 baht for a bed and I am happy with it. Yes, the mattress was not that great and the water heater don't work well but I am not complaining. Those you prefer better rooms should seek elsewhere. The lady owner is very nice and friendly. She let me keep my backpack... More

First of all, I clearly liked Nocky enough to stay there for 26 days. The location was FANTASTIC -- on Moon Muang soi 9 closer to Ratchaphakinai than MM, it is quiet and peaceful, with a small driveway to go down before you get there (look for the green and white sign out front). Since everything in the old city... More

After the two weeks I spent at Nocky house I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Chiang Mai . Purely due to the fact that if you spend time there it feels like your home. Wonderful place, wonderful family and really good value for money. Rooms are basic but comfortable. I miss you Nocky House...x

We stayed in the dorm, which was so cheap and very comfortable. We arrived in the middle of the night, but the lady who runs it woke up and let us in without complaint, she let us get some sleep before checking us in. She was very friendly the whole time we were there. Nocky is very sweet and quaint,... More

Nocky is a great place to spend some time while in Chiang Mai. I was doing a TEFL class at the Uni here so I spent over a month at Nocky (stayed in a tent, 200 baht room and 300 baht room). All accommodation options are quite comfortable (the 300 rooms being the most spacious, of course) and the atmosphere... More

Nocky is our home whilst in Chiang Mai, me and my partner have returned time after time on our travels; and always to a warm smile and Dam-Dam the owners pet dog. Noot, the owner, is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about Chiang Mai and the local area. Any activity can be arranged to suit any budget, and any details you... More

My partner and I happened to stumble on this place just by walking around. We stayed at Nocky 1. At first, all you can see is a small sign on the road with a dirty driveway leading to the back of another building. When you get down the driveway however, you are greeted with a very pleasant surprise. Nocky 1... More
