Very disapointed with everything at this hotel! - the ladies at the desk are not polite nor helping : the same guy helped us kindly ! - breakfast is more than average : fruits are tasteless and tables are not clean - bedroom are clean but we had ants near the fridge (we had no food!) - most of all... Very noisy! We were there 4 nights and had 3 different rooms, all with varying degrees of disfunction! Noisy neighbors in room 1, led to room 2, on the 4th floor which was the best one. The last night on the 2nd floor by the street(lane) was so noisy we only slept a couple of hours. Pretty good breakfast, Quite... More

Booked the Royal Suite with great views of the city being on sixth floor, open terrace with water fall to the fish pond. Inside great air con, big bed and loads of room . We had an extra bed for our travel companion, unfortunately this bed was pretty basic and uncomfortable, he ended up on the sofa. Warning. The Royal... More

This place is great for visit all what Chiang Mai as to offer, we were really happy for the choice. All in the hotel is really authentic and "Thai", mostly in the good, but of course also in the bad (like bathroom privacy, ça va sans dir). Restaurant is good for the breakfast, rooms are clean and comfortable, the swimming... More

We came there on 30 december. We were suppposed to have a trip - 2 days one night in the jungle from 1-2 january and then come back for last night in chiang mai at their hotel. From the beginning everything went wrong . Nobody picked us up from the airport. When we arrived the lady welcomed us,told us the... More

This little hotel was so authentic and beautiful, just off the main road but close enough to walk to everything. It still has the old fashioned Thai charm which alot of the bigger hotel and resorts have lost! It was definately value for money!

I stayed here with my partner 2 weeks ago and I booked online not really knowing what to expect. I was surprised! It's in a quiet location only a 10 minute walk (or 3 minute tuk tuk ride) to the night markets which were amazing! Th staff told us that this is a new hotel too, only about 3 years... More

Just spent 7 days at Chang Thai House hotel and found it to be an enjoyable experience. Good location, clean, everything worked, good size rooms, quite, relaxed helpful stall. Will certainly stay here when we return.

Situated a 2 minute walk to the canal that surrounds the busy central area. The rooms are clean and spacious each with a balcony over looking the pool (which is cooled and in my opinion to cold) or a view of the surrounding buildings with the mountains in the distance. The rooms come with the usual stuff and a fridge... More

We stayed here in November 2014. We chose to stay somewhere reasonably priced in Chiang Mai having stayed at a boutique hotel in Bangkok and another on the agenda in Ko Lanta. The hotel building itself met expectations. The staff were good, but struggled a little with the English language. The breakfast is dreadful, but then again what can you... More
