Me and my boyfriend just stayed here over Songkran in April. Our train stopped in the middle of nowhere enroute to Chiang Mai and we ended up in a cramped bus for over 4 hours so were really looking forward to hitting the pool and partaking in the festivities! Upon our arrival (which was late due to the bus ride)... More

Stink of sewerage coming from the toilet especially at night - absolutely nauseating .Looked like sewerage system was being upgraded if you could call it that as footpaths outside were all dug up and was dangerous to walk on having to walk out on the road and try and avoid erratic drivers. Wi-Fi didn't work most of time. Staff not... More

The Vieng Mantra is located within walking distance from touristic places, Wats, and restaurants. It's also just at the border of the old town walls, so you're really in the center of historical Chiang Mai. It's very quiet during day and night, although some mornings it could be a bit noisy. The room was nice and clean, big comfortable queen... More

Good lactation, friendly service, yummy breakfast, clean Lanna style room. It's absolutely a good choice when travel in Chiangmai. I left my mobile phone in the room when we went to shopping. The housekeeping keep it on the bed after they clean the room. I heard there's some guest in Chiangmai was stolen in the guest house, but here is... More

Arrived with high hopes, but was very disappointed when we arrived, the staff were all in their mobiles and didnt Evernote give us a welcome let alone a wSrm one which revived at every other hotel, they literally grunted at us, I felt like we had inturipted them! The lady who helped with the bags had a smile but she... More

Stayed 4 nights there. Found it fine. The location is great as you can walk to many places. We had 2 adjacent rooms (sadly not communicating , as we have 2 kids) on the 2nd floor overlooking the nice pool. The rooms were comfy, you get free and reliable wifi. Breakfast was ok although the cooked stuff often seemed on... More

Overall it's nice hotel. I recommend it, if it's ok for you to pay $70-80 for 1 night. What I like: *) It's very close to excellent "Black Canyon" restaurant *) It's very close to Moon Muang, and same time it's very quiet place with inner yard and swimming pool. *) Swimming pool is medium size, quite enough for relaxing,... I only stayed one night in this place. The only thing I would recommend about it is its proximity to the Sunday Walking Street. There was no elevator in the hotel and that was a problem for me as my room was up to steep flights of stairs, this after I had specifically requested (months in advance) a room on... More

The best location with great eating all around. Staff are all superb and very well trained by "the Boss" (the Manager who is lovely). Delux room is all you could wish for. Breakfast was buffet and very nice. Would stay there again.

I was given a warm welcome by the staff when checking at very late night, who led me and carried my luggage to my superior room at the third floor. The hotel is at a great location, near the Tha Pae Gate but in a quiet alley so away from the street noise. Free wifi at room, and good breakfast... More
