This was kind of an odd place to stay in Thailand. I felt a bit like I was in a British beach side B and B but without the breakfast! Older couple who own the guest house were very nice and it was great to be able to speak in English and be understood. I just sometimes felt like things... More

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and it was very good. Excelent location, with a great vegetarian restaurant on the side. The Guest house is very clean and they offers good laundry service for a fair price and all the clothes came well folded. Staff were friendly and we got a room with balcony with clothesline (I... Nice little place in the northeast corner of the old city. The owners are lovely older couple who were very friendly. This is a no frills/no hassle kinda place. Based on that, there's not much to review. It was a quiet and comfortable sleep. There's AC, but no safe or fridge or breakfast (aka "frills"). So if you're looking for... More

We stayed for 4 nights. The owners were EXTREMELY helpful in everything we needed to do. From recommending places to eat to booking trips. The place was clean and the rooms were cleaned everyday (something not to common in Thailand). This is a strictly quiet place so not the best place if you want to meet other travelers. The lounge... Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great for the price. We were on the 3rd floor which was a little bit difficult with our cases but we managed (we did have a lot! lol) Great location, breakfast not included but some awesome places nearby to eat..esp right next door is a little restaurant (sorry cant remember the name... I stayed 1 night here. The walls are thin like paper. In the night I woke up several times due to the other home coming guests. If the guest next door takes a shower you first think that someone is showering in your room. When people go up and down the stairway it is very loud. Sleep quality is bad.... More

Thank you for your comments. It would seem that you thought it was a case of sour grapes on our part over the completion of your tour purchase. A pleasant little oasis in a hot and busy city. Immaculately clean. Very helpful and pleasant owners and staff with lots of information about local activities. Conveniently situated in a quiet soi in the old town. Would definitely stay here again and recommend highly.
