I stayed here on my honeymoon in August for only two nights, and it wasn't nearly long enough. We were on a quick stop through to Chiang Mai, otherwise I could have easily spent weeks here! First of all the location is excellent-on a cute side street surrounded by restaurants, shopping, bike and motorbike rentals, and right off the main... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, the position is in a nice little area of CM in the north-eastern corner of the old city, with a few bars close and more within 5 mins walk. The room was a little dated, but big and had a nice little balcony, aircon was great and shower hot. The biggest selling pint were... More

A very nice and clean place to rest. In particular: free bottled water, air conditionar, very good good bed (comfy and big!), paceful and the most important: the owners are so helpful and kind. They helped us to book a lot of activities with discount. All this at the center of the city! Highly recommended!!!

Thank you for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed one of our comfy new beds. We have been slowly replacing them over the past year or so with a softer variety. Hope to see you again another time More

This is my second stay at The Britannia and with good reason - it's clean, quiet, in a great location, and it's a great value. The owners are a very friendly couple who are willing to help with your Chiang Mai questions, fluent in English and in Thai so no worries there. Free wifi throughout the hotel. I prefer the... More

This was kind of an odd place to stay in Thailand. I felt a bit like I was in a British beach side B and B but without the breakfast! Older couple who own the guest house were very nice and it was great to be able to speak in English and be understood. I just sometimes felt like things... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Not sure how your 'visitor' happened as entry to the building is restricted to guests only. We are installing privacy chains for increased security. More

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and it was very good. Excelent location, with a great vegetarian restaurant on the side. The Guest house is very clean and they offers good laundry service for a fair price and all the clothes came well folded. Staff were friendly and we got a room with balcony with clothesline (I... Nice little place in the northeast corner of the old city. The owners are lovely older couple who were very friendly. This is a no frills/no hassle kinda place. Based on that, there's not much to review. It was a quiet and comfortable sleep. There's AC, but no safe or fridge or breakfast (aka "frills"). So if you're looking for... More

We stayed for 4 nights. The owners were EXTREMELY helpful in everything we needed to do. From recommending places to eat to booking trips. The place was clean and the rooms were cleaned everyday (something not to common in Thailand). This is a strictly quiet place so not the best place if you want to meet other travelers. The lounge... Now that l am back home and back on my computer, l would like to share about feeling so at home while staying in Chiang Mai. Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great for the price. We were on the 3rd floor which was a little bit difficult with our cases but we managed (we did have a lot! lol) Great location, breakfast not included but some awesome places nearby to eat..esp right next door is a little restaurant (sorry cant remember the name...
