FURAMA is one of those hotels that you go "wow that's alot of bang for your buck". It's relatively inexpensive for what you get. I actually like the location because you are closer to the Chiang Mai so you are right where all the cafe's and coffee shops are located. You will be in the district with all the local... More

Plenty of space in a big room, good wifi connection, discreet, reliable and attentive room service, good street access. Staff were a bit quiet - but gave EXCELLENT service when approached, and were very helpful. Hassle-free check in and check out. Hotel transfer to the airport only THB30 more than the standard taxi fare. There is an adequate gym and... More

Rude management. Mistake after mistake from breakfast to room service. it seemed that they just could not get anything right. Won't be staying there again. Plus, it is just too far from the city centre.

I've stayed here twice. Last stay seemed good value for money. This time not so much. Issues: Air conditioning was broken in the room i was checked into. The front desk appear to have lied to me saying the hotel was fully booked. So i could not change room. Later on they showed me a number of empty rooms which... More

When we first saw our deluxe room, I thought wow, what an awesome room! Certainly worth $40 usd per night and I will definitely go back there again. Positives: Room: Very clean, comfortable bed, clean toilet and shower, no smell, good view and balcony. Service: Very good. Location: It's a bit out of the city but you can easily get... More

I love the room, it is incredibly spacious and the bed is comfy! Overall the hotel is pleasantly presentable with courteous and helpful staff, and good value for money. Wifi is only available at public areas so that caused a bit of inconvenience having to carry my laptop up and down. Good thing is that it is absolutely free of... More

Furama is a very typically Asian hotel and its aimed at Asians too. Its primarily a business hotel and caters for large conferences and parties. This meant that occassionally the pools and certain restaurants were off limits when a large conference or party had arrived. Also the noise from these gatherings echoes and can be heard all over the hotel.... More

I didn't use much of the hotel services (I ate out for all my meals and booked my own trips & transport). The room is very spacious. Small kitchenette (sink and coffee facilities but no cutlery etc). Rooms are fitted with an in-room safe. The windows look out onto the old city and the mountains although they could do with... More

What a pleasant surprize this was! Lovely room with spa bath, recliner, big flat screen TV and gr8 view! Hotel has a gym, free internet, travel service, good restaurants, free night market shuttle, live music every night +++... Wonderful, friendly staff. And all of this at very low rates! Highly recommended.
