We stayed at the Furama for New Year as we were a family with 2 older children they offer a 2 bedroom suite. The hotel itself is very traditional and could do with bit if refurbishment. The pool on the roof is nice but was closed 2 days out of 3 and the day we used it we only had... More

We have just checked out from the Furama 2 Bedroom Executive Suite after ten days. The Receptionist, Kanjana was more interested in charging us for a broken glass 60 baht, ($2) than processing our porter service. I had no problem paying on top of the 100 baht I paid to housekeeper for replacement. We paid more than 1500 times that... More

The hotel is advertised at booking.com as: "Room Details Features modern interiors, spacious room offers a cable/satellite TV and a spa bath. Includes tea/coffee making facilities and in-room safety box." Based on this advertisement I have pre booked a week at the hotel, the reality is completely different, the room has very old furnitures, drawers cannot be closed, safety box... More

Not too expensive for the room, but if you dont have a car, it is not so convenience to get in down town for sight seeing and shopping. Why do i have write a comment ovér 200 characters for trip advisor, isn't it too much?

We checked in on 5 December 2014. The hotel was situated in a small road off a busy road where Maya shopping mall was situated. Our room, No. 1618, was quite big with a paranormal glass window, room was rather dated with cigarette smell when we were checking in. There were disturbing noise outside my room in the early hours,... More

This Hotel is by far the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. A Motel 6 would have had more to offer. The Grounds: -In the middle of Nowhere next to private houses. -The outside looks like its from 1980 and hasn't been cleaned once. -Entrance is on a dirt road The Hotel: -Lobby looks completely outdated and old -The elevators... I recently secured a room at the Furama Hotel in Chiangmai. I found the hotel on the Booking.com website. It appeared to be a beautiful hotel in the images presented on the Booking.com website. When I arrived in the lobby it appeared to be a bit faded, worn and dated. However I was optimistic thinking it would probably better when... More

A very typical large city hotel located on the outskirts about a 15 minute taxi ride to the very popular Night Bazaar and central shopping area. Whilst the rooms are satisfactory with the amenities expected all present, the place doesn't inspire. I used the word 'frayed' in the title of this review because it seemed to fit both the condition... More

I found an amazing deal at Furama so my expectations were very low. I gave the rating as a whole four stars, but the room was definitely a three star experience. I think that the Furama is going through renovations and this floor has not had the much needed attention. A thin door from the 80's with an actual key... More
