We stayed 2 nights here. The outdoor garden area was lovely and peaceful. The staff seemed friendly enough but when checking out tried to pay for a coffee and 2 juices that we had ordered at breakfast the man on the desk did not seem to understand what I was trying to say. Never the less I paid the 180bht... More

I quite like this place especially the back garden so I stayed here for two nights but realized that I get little for what I paid. Not even breakfast so I move on to another hotel just across the road same price 1500 baht with breakfast new tv,ac, kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

We loved its design and the staff were very gentle, there is choice of rooms starting at the backpacker price of 500 baht a night to 1700 all without breakfast which is quite mean. The downstairs seating area is a magnet for mosquitos the rooms are noisey as the doors are required to be slammed to lock them the shower... More

We had 2 stays at the Pha Thai House. When we first arrived, we got a room probably in the older building of the hotel. The room was huge, but seemed to be let down a bit. Bathroom was very old and barely no light in there. Also in the room the light was very dimmed. After we left Chiang... More

Great location, friendly staff, large room, with a basic shower room, basic layout, and a balcony (though the wall is too high). Our room has 1 double bed, 1 single bed with a pullout and a sofa bed. It could easily fit about 5 people. The only problem is the bed bugs! We woke up the next day with lots... More

Awesome location! Inside the old city square and at a walking distance from all markets in town. When we got there, the owners circled hot places in Chiang Mai on the map and was very kind. The place is super clean, quiet and beautifully designed. There was no one using the pool during our visit on November.

Really good value. Comfy beds, nice linens. We had the lowest cost rooms w fan. One was a bit musty, one was a bit small...for same price. The pool is lovely, location is great. The owner was not hugely friendly though. Woman was nice, but the owner not very concerned that we couldn't get internet in our room, even though... More

We stayed here 3 nights and then left for an overnight excursion and came back again for our last night in Thailand. The first 3 were in a fan room, the last in an air conditioned. Both rooms are very nice with their own unique touches. Artwork, wood wardrobes, headboards, nice detailing on the ceiling. It's very comfortable. Beautiful garden... More

I stayed here in February 2014, in their "Super Deluxe" room with double bed, for five nights. No problems and I enjoyed my visit. I wanted the "Deluxe" room, but they didn't have one available. Now it's true that I'm not on a backpacker budget, so I paid more than I could have. They also have basic rooms with fan... More

The good... Great location in the tourist area and many food places outside in the area. Nice back area with seating and it was really relaxed. Basic but everything you need and we barely spent much time in the room. Really cute, small cafe at the front. The bad... Barely saw staff so was never able to get any service... More
