Hi, I like to talk about my experience in Joy's House. I was not a guest for one week. I stayed in this guest house from 3rd of June until 19 th oft August as a volunteer. So I think I got a deep sight into life at the guest house. The service, quality, staff, atmosphere are greatly to be... More

We went to Chiang Mai for service, my 3 other friends and I, and decided to affiliate with Joy's house. They gave us really pretty and cute air conditioned rooms with warm water in the showers, and clean facilities. The guesthouse itself is very pretty and the food, amazing. The staff is super friendly and approachable and sleep quality is... More

Whenever we are in Chiang Mai - we stay at JH: Located at a short taxi drive from the center of Chiang Mai, you will find a real place to relax. Every room is different and has its typical thai-style. You can decide between a wide range of activities: Enjoy the spa or the swimming pool, learn how to do... More

Just visited Joys House again. Such a lovely guesthouse and childrens foundation. Guesthouse is set among beautiful gardens with plenty of lovely outdoor areas for relaxing. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. Jarm and all the special staff and students always make us feel like family. We really feel we are experiencing a slice of local life at this guesthouse.... My wife and I have stayed at Joys House 3 times now and we have made great friendships with everyone there. The great thing about Joys House is that you meet a lot of people of different nationalities that are staying there to experience the magic this place has to offer . We are now sponsors of "Joys House and... More

We spent 4 nights at Joys house and could have happily stayed for much longer. The rooms are spotless and extremely well decorated, the food was some of the best we have had in Thailand. Now for the really good stuff, the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. We went on a trip to visit the temples... More

Joy's house has a beautiful reason to exist, but they have to decide whether they are a guesthouse or a children shelter. They can't be both. The most concerning issue was seeing children making up our room. 3 or 4 at the same time. And as they are children ( I would say ages from 10 to 15), they are... More
