Staying several days at Joy’s house became one of the highlights of our Thailand trip. It’s a beautiful place to stay, green and clean with spacious rooms, a pool, a yoga room, and great food. We were very touched by the open and friendly atmosphere between the staff, the guests and the children from the Children Project. We were lucky... More

We stayed for a week at Joy's House, 3 adults with 4 children between us. Joy's House exudes warmth and a real family vibe. The people who run it are genuine and inspiring, and your money is well spent on supporting the children and young people whom the project supports. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. We spent Loy... More

If your looking for more than a sterile room to dump your stuff and sight-see, maybe with a very good chance of meeting many great people, eating some absolutely wonderfully fresh and tasty food, then you have to go to Joy's. Set up as a foundation to help needy and very positive kids, you know your money is going to... More

This was our second time here at Joy's House and since February 2013 there has been significant changes to the venue as well as additional features within the Childrens Foundation. Regardless of these changes though, we were quickly reminded once again about the best features of Joy's House, that of the family oriented, peaceful ambience that permatates the place. The... More

I found Joy's House online by accident. But I'm so glad I did. It was very pleasant staying with them. I booked a bungalow on Joy's House's website. I have to say the pictures on their website don't do them justice. The guesthouse was finely decorated but not over the board, giving you a relaxing, peaceful, but very Thailand kind... More

We stayed at Joy's for 4 nights. It was the perfect place for us, the answer to our need for a peaceful and quite place to relax---a place like home away from the madness of the city. Loved the rustic setting of wooden units amidst lush, mature tropical trees with pet cats and dogs loitering within the compound. Service was... More

My 3rd visit to Joy's House ... the only place I'll ever stay in Chiang Mai. Joy's House is for those seeking an authentic and meaningful travel experience. Beautifully appointed rooms, delicious food, great facilities are just the beginning. Joy's House is all about the people ... genuine, authentic, welcoming, wonderful young people. Joy's House is run by some of... More

I stayed at Joy's House for 3 nights in November. From the initial e-mails to arrange my booking to the complimentary airport transfer to the greeting and service with a smile, this place was just amazing. I didn't expect the rooms to be as big, clean and comfortable as they were! We stayed in the big family villa right in... More

I spent a few days at Joy's House when I was traveling Thailand with a good friend. My parents had already stayed at Joy's House before and had been telling me about its magical flair ever since. And I have to say, it was even better than our expectations. Not only do you get everything you want in a good... More
