I really love this hotel. It's small and family-operated, which means the staff go above and beyond to help you. The daily breakfast and espresso is wonderful, the accommodations are modern and clean and it's very close to all the sights, sounds and smells of Chiang Mai. I highly reccomend it.

Feeling really cozy and comfie the moment you step in into their properties. With only 8 rooms in here, the staff put a lot of attention into details to your need. They are always helpful with answering all the questions as well as giving us some suggestions too. They will help you to book all your transportation to go up... More

It took me a while to settle on where to stay in Chiang Mai and after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I'm glad we chose here. From the reservation process (which I did direct with the hotel and got a reduction on the nightly rate, plus a free airport transfer!) through to check out it was perfect. Thankfully the... More

We booked this hotel based on its location, decor, reviews, price and the pool (given we travelled during Thai summer). We also loved the size of the hotel as are not interested in large impersonal resorts.... We loved our stay but there are defiantly a few little things that would make this place just perfect. On arrival to Chiang Mai... More

Having stayed at similar priced accommodation, Rimping Vilage, in Chiang Mai it is easy to make a comparison. Here the accommodation is four and a half stars and the staff three and a half. Decor and rooms are sumptuous colonial Thai with good bathrooms beds and linen. Breakfast is fabulous and the Nespresso delivered the first good coffee since arriving... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Chiang Mai, and loved it. It was beautifully decorated, had a small pool, and large, clean, comfortable rooms. We also got laundry done while staying here, which was fairly priced. One small downside- our taxi drivers and tour guides did have difficulty finding the hotel. Once we got to know the area,... This hotel bills itself reasonably as Colonial, and is a smallish property of 10 rooms, in 2 floors over 3 sides, looking over the pool and a well maintained courtyard garden. Its popular, currently 3 on TA and we could only get 3 of the 5 nights we sought. After moving to the Viang Thapae Resort (see review) for the remaining... More

We have made multiple trips to north Thailand and each time have stayed at Klang Wiang Chiang Mai -- one of the loveliest boutique hotels in Thailand. Located in the "old city", the hotel is in walking distance to the morning market and the evening market. It is just wonderful to explore the maze of tiny streets holding surprises at... More

A great boutique option in Chiang Mai. It is obvious a lot of thought has gone into making this a beautifully appointed and decorated oasis. The staff were attentive and professional. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The suite (No. 8) is highly recommended. We will not consider any other hotel on our return... More

This is a small and comfortable guest house of only ten rooms in the old city close to the Chiang Mai gate. The rooms overlook a lovely open courtyard with a small swimming pool. It is here that a delightful breakfast is served each morning which is included in the room rate. It is a small but tasty menu on... More
