Prettiest little hotel ever - we had rooms 1 and 2 so could sit out in the courtyard with wifi and a coffee, in full view of the room where the children were asleep. The best of Thai hospitality - they did some laundry for us, arranged for a Songteaw (transport) for the day and surprised us with a birthday... More

We enjoyed 3 nights at Baan Klang which is very conveniently located in Chiang Mai. The first night heard the neighbors barking dog, I kindly mentioned this to our gracious hostess when she asked how we slept, we did not hear the dog again. Rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily. The highlight of my stay was greetings from... More

Wonderful staff, great food, sweet comfortable (air conditioned) rooms that make you feel honored. I highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the old city. After hours of walking we came back and took a refreshing dip in the pool before napping in our cool room on soft white sheets. Did I mention the staff was wonderful?

We spent a week in Chiang Mai at the Baan Klang Wiang and didn't want to leave. I can't write enough good things about this lovely place. Our room (Junior Suite #10) was spacious clean and comfortably furnished. We chose the suite because we wanted a cool sitting area to relax in after our busy sightseeing (and we certainly did... Baan Klang Wiang located in a quiet alley, you can enjoy the holiday with no noisy party youth. Staffs are polite and helpful, they always tried their best to help you. Breakfast is excellent, full of character and big portion, although there are many flys in the lobby. Everything is good, I will come back when I visit Chiang mai... More

Situated within the walls of the old city this hotel is set around and inner courtyard that makes it seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai city centre. The rooms and entire hotel are beautifully furnished, so much so we wanted to buy many of the pieces they had in the hotel. We travelled with... More

We spent 5 nights at Baan Klang Wiang this month, and it was our favorite hotel during our trip to Thailand! It feels very private and calm because of the small number of rooms, and it was definitely the perfect retreat after long days of exploring Chiang Mai. We were upgraded to the suite upon our arrival, and the room... More

This is a small hotel as far as the number of rooms but manages to feel like one of those grand old hotels because of the central courtyard and quality of the furnishings. My wife loved everything about the room decoration and furnishings, the fourposter canopy bed had the highest canopy I have ever seen. It is within walking distance... More

We toured Japan, Thailand and Cambodia on this trip and this was by far our favorite hotel. The place is small and beautifully decorated, so it felt like coming home every night. The location was perfect for walking just about anywhere. In the morning they set individual tables up around the pool and serve an awesome breakfast either Western or... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in total and enjoyed our stay. Pros: - Good location in a quiet street of the old city, - Clean, large, nicely furnished rooms, - beautiful building, decorations and landscaping, - Massive freshly prepared (nice) breakfast which also doubled as our lunch, - small selection of books and magazines available to read, - Staff...
