Recommended by colleague which he stayed here last year. The simple cement floor and bathroom look raw and simple. The blue curtains covering the security box and below the sink give Thai Deco which is comfortable and peaceful. The wooden balcony with plants and chair gave peace especially when facing the Temple directly. Overall, the room is neat and is... More

A nice small hotel in a great location. A decent walk from the night market and the busy vibe, about 1 km. If you're happy to walk, we loved staying a little bit out of the very busy touristy area. The room and bathroom were a little small but perfectly adequate and a nice little balcony. You can do laundry... More

We stayed in Chiang Mai for a week at Pat`s visiting a friend who lives in the area. It was clean, modern and relaxing. The location is perfect as its in the center area of the old town so most places are within walking distance. The price was fair, the food tasty enough so I would recommend it to anyone... More

This was the 2nd time I visited Pat. First was Jan 2012. My 2nd trip was supposed to be last year but due to the passing on of my FIL, I couldn't proceed. Pat was nice enough not to forfeit my deposit and allowed me to put on hold till I resumed my trip this year! Nothing changed much since... More

The Klangviang guesthouse is stunning, we really enjoyed our short stay here. The room itself is a bit small but very clean with modern furnishing. It also has two great common areas, one out the front near the street and an indoor upstairs lobby to read or use the internet. I wish I could have stayed longer than I did... More

We booked this hotel mainly because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Right in the middle on the old city, you can walk to the night market. You can walk anywhere really, just choose one direction: on the main road, walk five minutes to the right and you'll have the sunday night market, walk twenty... More

There's no such thing as a perfect hotel or b&b. There's always something that can be improved, so it's only fair to evaluate these accommodations based on what you're getting versus what you're paying for. In this sense, Pat's Klangviang was perfect for our stay in Chiang Mai. It's located at the heart of the old city, right across one... More

Had 2 short stays here in February. Location good for most attractions in central Chiangmai Mai. Rooms clean and good size and breakfast great. Best of Al was how outstandingly helpful April and her sister were. Can't praise them enough.

Though its price is a little higher than the last guesthouse I stay in old town, I would recommend this place to stay because of friendly staff and comfortable lobby. I also appreciate they always send breakfast quickly, thus I would not delay my schedule.

Believe it or not, I was once worked @ Pat's Klangviang Boutique Guest House in Chiang Mai back in late 2008 for 4 months. Only has 9 rooms in antique-style yet uniquely mixed with modernism. Locates right in the heart of Sunday's Walking Street festival that surrounded by fun Lanna-stylish cafes & restaurants. I created its delighted menu especially ABF... More
