This hostel is located in the historic center of Chiang mai so you can walk most places. The rooms are ok and the fact that there's only WiFi in the common area makes it easy to meet new people. (even though the connection is not that great most of the time) The food is really good and there's an open... More

We stayed in Julie's Guesthouse for two nights. We loved it! Amazing! It really is a paradise or oasis in Chiangmai Mai! Beautiful and funky setting. Basic but everything you need! Good food! Clean! Central in old town! Walking distance to night bazaar and central locations. Very social hang out space. We spoke mostly to Touch! Great guy and very... More

Julies guesthouse is a really nice and cheap place. For a dorm i paid 90 baht pr night. You get what you pay for. Bad beds, dirty toilet/bathroom, no aircondition. But the saff is nice and helpfull, and their café is nice and cheap. They have a really good service, and offer different things like trekking trips, cooking cource, bus... More

I've stayed in Julie's Guesthouse Part 1 five times, and every time I go there's a buzz and great atmosphere. Rooms are quirky, small with quite uncomfortable mattresses but what do you expect for 350 baht a night for a double bed, fan and ensuite! Can get very noisy if you are staying in a room above the back garden,... More

I arrived in Chiang Mai with the intention of staying 3 nights, relax and meet a few more people before moving on. Julies Part 2 was so good I ended up staying for a week and met some amazing people. The rooms were cleaned daily, the bathrooms were spotless and the service was great. The staff at part 2 were... More

I stayed at Part II since the main guesthouse was full. It was a nice hostel with several bunk beds and shared bathroom. I choose a room with a fan instead of an air conditioner. It was soooo cheap and the fan was sufficient. The hostel was close to the Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures shop which was great for... More

After being told by 2 other guest houses, I was finally able to book a room with a cold shower for 240b a night. In was told the price on their website hasn't been updated. Not a big deal. From the airport, I haggled down to 80b with a tuk tuk driver. The check in with Tom was pleasant, who... More

Probably the best hostel we stayed in on our trip. Rooms are vibrant, bright, welcoming and well sized. Beds are comfy and warm. There is an amazing roof where you can socialise or read in peace, as well as a buzzing downstairs social area where groups join together with ease to have interesting conversations and great nights out. Julie's sort... More
