We stumbled upon Baan Ramida on a weekend when all the other guest houses were filled up. It was a nice surprise, the staff didn't speak much English but were helpful nonetheless! It's in a good location, not too bad of a walk to the Sunday Walking Street or Tapae Gate :) There are also many good restaurants in this... More

The hotel is closer to an American motel. The room itself was decent sized with a desk, mini fridge, ac, and towel rack. The room is fair sized. My main issue was the bathroom. The bathroom was not clean and I didn't have time to have them clean it because I was out all day. The toilet had yellow stains... More

I wanted a cheap place to stay because I was travelling solo and this little guesthouse checked all the required boxes: free wifi, private bathroom, air conditioning, soft bed, close to main roads yet quiet. That having been said, it's a little worn and during my bedbug check (which they passed), the mattress had some gross stains on it. But... More

Very clean. Price very low. Room very confortable. Staff not so bad but with no English. So close to the road with all night pubs and clubs. Really a good trade off ;). No triple rooms. No elevator. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcxcxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Baan Ramida is in a great location, within walking distance of temples, cafes and restaurants. Rooms very clean and beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Owners and staff very hospitable. Nice attractive courtyard for sitting, reading, having coffee.

We moved to this guest house after having a bad experience in a nearby accommodation. The room was very nice and everything in it worked perfectly. There was a TV with lots of western channels to catch up on world the news. The location of the Baan Ramida was perfect for us, in the old town, near the market with... More

Stayed 10 days in Jan / Feb... room was clean, staff was a little weak on English, but very nice. No restaurant, but best coffee in town. Cute little courtyard to hangout and have you coffee. Wifi was good...for the price you can't do better.

I'll start with the good: The room was clean and spacious and the coffee was great! Like others gave mentioned, there's no character whats so ever. Service is virtually non-existent. If all you're looking for is a functional space, then look no further. Single room for 500 baht.

We found this little gem after checking around at other guest houses in the area. Our room was spotless, spacious shower and bathroom area, and even included mini fridge! For 500 baht per night, we got air con, tv, free wifi, hot water, desk, and a coat rack and drying rack to hang our stuff. This is an excellent value... More

We stayed at Baan Ramida for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The room was beautiful, clean and simple with marble floors, solid wood beds, lots of natural light and a huge bathroom. It is located at the top corner of the old city and very close to everything, including the night market. We wish Baan Ramida continued success... More
