We paid for this online before we arrived. Firstly it is way too far from chaing mai centre. The seal of the door had massive gaps of it and the door didnt connect with the frame, with massive lizards walking around the roofs walls and floors this was not good. Cobwebs, all sortsof bugs, dead plants and filth everywhere we... More

Trekker camp was an ideal place to hang out at after joining in the many adventure sports in the area (mountain biking, zip-line, rafting, trekking etc.). The staff is friendly and helpful but don't be shy about getting their attention otherwise you may not get the info that you need. The staff have good basic English skills, and can take... More

It is a cheap place to stay one night. There is a yummy breakfast and good internet connection. But it is a little bit far away from the city centre. So if you are looking for cheap places and you don't mind about the distance to the city centre, it is a really good hotel.

We only stayed one night at the trekker camp but enjoyed a really good night's sleep. The bed is comfy and it is quite and peaceful at night. The included breakfast in the morning was a plus! Great and fast wifi connection. The location is pretty far out thought, even with a scooter and it could have been cleaner.

Stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed. The room was big and had a comfy bed. Bathroom was big and had a hot shower that didn't soak the toilet like other hotels. The hotel offers free pushbike rental which is cool. It's in a quiet area but not really convenient for getting into town unless you cycle up the busy road.... More

Spent 5 nights here and really liked the place. The free Breakfast was pretty good and the staff very helpful and friendly! We bought 2 tours such as the elephant trekking trip and a tour to tiger Kingdom. The prices were pretty fine. Unfortunately it is located 40 minutes away from the city centre, so taxis where kind of expensive... More

Pros: Good for anyone looking for a cheap stay. Pom helped us book a Baan Thai cooking class, Chiang Rai/Golden Triangle day tour & elephant 1/2 day activity. Also helped arrange the rental of a motorbike. She was VERY accommodating. Cons: Location away from city center.

Place is quite far from the city center but it is peacfull and quiet. You could rent a motorbike or use one of free bicycles provided. For very low price you get clean room with hot shower, free speed wifi and basic breakfast. Bargain. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed it.

Can't deny that this place is super cheap and rooms are spacious but beds were rock hard, very dirty rooms, far from the centre of Chiang mai. We left after one night as it wasn't for us. The price your gonna pay in red trucks to and from the old city, you can get a much better hostel closer to... More
