Place is quite far from the city center but it is peacfull and quiet. You could rent a motorbike or use one of free bicycles provided. For very low price you get clean room with hot shower, free speed wifi and basic breakfast. Bargain. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed it.

Can't deny that this place is super cheap and rooms are spacious but beds were rock hard, very dirty rooms, far from the centre of Chiang mai. We left after one night as it wasn't for us. The price your gonna pay in red trucks to and from the old city, you can get a much better hostel closer to... More

My wife and I really enjoyed starting our time at Trekker Camp. It of course is no 5 star place, but for the money would be hard to beat. The atmosphere was very warm, and the staff was very helpful. They helped us book all of our travel around the city. It is about a 20 minute walk from the... More

For this hotel you definitely need a scooter as it is far from the main area of Chiang Mai. The facilities are very good, breakfast was very tasty and coffee was excellent. We stayed there 4 nights. At first we had a bit of a problem with our rooms, first they had a booking problem and we got a twin... More

My dormitory room had old blood on the floor...looked like a murder scene. Barking dog keeping me awake all night. No lockers. Further than I thought from the city centre. Was only half a toilet seat. Positives: lovely people that work there. Good food around the corner. Free breakfast. Cheap laundry but you must bargain as the scale is severely... More

So I’ve just finished a 2 night stay at Trekker Camp in Chiang Mai and I’m impressed! It’s not the Radisson and it’s definitely not part of the Hilton chain but what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in value for money. For 8 dollars a night you get a spacious twin room with a working fan, a... More

Hostel really is far from town. It is walking distance, but specially at night not a good walk at all. But I would guess that if your plans in Chiang Mai would be hiking and trekking, then this would suit you. For exploring town itself, not so good. While I was there, place was very quiet and I was only... More

We stayed here in august 2014. The staff in the hotel were fantastic especially sugar who really went out of her way to make us feel welcome . The staff really looked after us and even brought us to a local Mother's Day event . We will definitely be returning . The only downside is the distance from the town... More

This hostel is really worth a stay. I spend 3 nights in a 6 bed dorm. The room was spacious, clean and also provided lockers. In the unbeatable low rate was a basic breakfast included. A real bargain. We also got bicycles for free for the whole day. They might not be the newest, but they did their job and... More

Lovely hostel, rooms clean, good aircon and great breakfast too all for low price. About 25 minute walk from night bazaar but didn't mind, they have bikes that you can take for free too which is awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely recommend Trekker Camp!
