This is a great hostel for solo travellers to meet people! The communal table and tv area is very welcoming to chat to people, play drinking games, watch films etc. The guy who runs it is so lovely & super helpful....ask him to book you in at SpicyPai !!!!!! Great little cafe outside with nice brekkie and other dishes. You... More

I found that his hostel in was a bit of a let down verses what I had been reading on hostelworld. From being there and seeing the other hostels, you can see that this hostel is quite out of the centre - making it difficult to navigate to the main areas independently. The bathrooms are on the ground floor and... More

Please note that I was assured that this hostel was particularly quite when I arrived compared to the week before, when they had all night parties and bbqs. Exactly value for money. Guests.... I was not the oldest but the clientele seemed 26 or below. I'm 28. This didn't bother me so much as the place wasn't packed with them... More

Couldn't ask for anything better! The hostel has a good common area for meeting people, which is great for a solo female traveller like me. It's on a good location, just north of town. The staff are very chill and helpful. The room was excellent and had pretty comfy beds. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Hostel was ok for the price. Rooms were a bit run down with limited plug sockets! Hostel was very social and breakfast was free. Within walking distance to the old town, so good location. Bathrooms were big but cold showers. Little cafe so can you eat on site!

Was sick when I visited this place and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Noon (the boss) is such a nice guy and can sort out everything out for you. This hostel actually cares about you and they know you by name. Restaurant on site, free tea/coffee & toast. Plus they have a great film selection... More

Spent 4 nights in Chaing mai and really enjoyed it. The hostel was great for meeting people and the host (Noom) and Emily were a wealth of knowledge supporting people to do anything from book taxies to finding good food. The rooms were nothing special and the bathroom facilities were definitely very hostel vibe (+ i don't think there was... More

The rooms are nothing to write home about but are comfortable and are clean. What makes this place is the host, Noom and the amazing social atmosphere, perfect for the solo traveler. He has a real care for his guests which is unmatched by anyone I have seen, organising trips and even lifts into town for a night out!

Never been in such a friendly, cool environment. Noom (the owner) really encourages people to make friends and do things together. Sometimes we would all go out for meals, go out on day trips, go out and party, or just chill in the common room and watch movies. The dorms were fine and we're cleaned daily, along with the bathroom... More

Had a wonderful time in this hostel. The rooms are nice and there is a cool young vibe. There is good value for your money in everything - the nights, food and drinks. The staff took us out one night to play soccer which was a refreshing change for a trip and every night they worried about us having a... More
