Great location! Yantarasiri is located in a neighborhood with a college feel northwest of the old city. The hotel is tucked down a quiet alley off a main road where there was good shopping and food. It is a short 1/2 block walk to catch a tuk tuk into the old city. Our room was on the bottom floor next... More

A friend and I stayed at Yantarasiri Resort for 4 nights. Upon arrival, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately there are no elevators so definitely keep that in mind when you're booking. If I remember correctly, there were 3 floors in total. While I didn't mind walking up the stairs at all, I felt bad for the staff that... More

Let's get the fact that it's under the flight path out of the way first! You also don't notice the aircraft that overfly you. The rooms are big, the location is perfect, staff are friendly and the price was uber competitive. You have the ability to walk to the old town or enjoy the local buzz, food and drink of... More

My friend and I spent had a one-night stay at Yantarasri. Located in one the most convenient neighbourhood in Chiang Mai city, we found ourselves in this beautiful "vintage" hotel -- very well styled and decorated. Our room, though not so spacious, was clean and fully equipped with all the necessities. WiFi was offered for free. Yes, plain landing could... More

We really loved this hotel. It was like a little piece of paradise in a very busy area. Only spent 1 night there before heading north. Our room was gorgeous, I loved the Thai style furniture, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the unique thai style bathroom. Our room overlooked the pool, which was a beautiful area and the... More

I don't know anything about the resort, but based on the "spa" visit, I would say don't go. Me, my wife and her sister booked a 2hr aroma oil massage here, and came about 20 mins early as is normal for a spa visit. The resort don't have their own employees in the spa, so outside hired people had to... More

Stayed here over Christmas. The staff here are lovely, rooms are nice and the location is great. The Nimman area was a trendy and not especially touristy spot where you're guaranteed to find great coffee, nightlife and shopping. What goes with this wonderful location however is proximity to the airport. The jet noise was very loud. As was the construction... More

Noise. Not the airport variety noise, which is a given from the distance the airport is from the city, but constant early morning construction noise. Plus cleaning staff slamming doors in the hallway and no blackout curtains make for an early wakeup..... A problem if not a early bird, which we are not! Not worth 3000 baht a night

We stayed for 2 nights and personally I really loved the style of the hotel. It has a unique character that is different than most of the places I have stayed. I really liked the little ponds with wish and flowers and the pool has a cozy feel. Of course when you have ponds you are going to have more... More

This place was a fairy garden at night - just beautiful!! Found the staff helpful and friendly and the room gorgeous. Loved the bathroom!! I would not stay here again tho - did not enjoy staying on Nimman Road, traffic was crazy and the place too suburbia. Much prefer Night Bazaar area. And ofcourse the planes!!! Nice place tho :)
