What we loved: great location. Nimman Road is a very funky part of town with great shopping and a heap of great restaurants and bars. A short ride into town is about 20bht and the taxis are extremely frequent from the end of the street. Breakfast was great, more on offer than other places we had stayed in Thailand. Staff... More

Large rooms, small twin beds, have to pay an extra 900THB for an additional bed for our 6 years old daughter (without breakfast!!), which is rather on the high side... Service: friendly at the reception, lack of training in the restaurant at breakfast.. Breakfast: poor, coffee is kept warmed on the coffee pot for ages,,,lack consistency and variety The +... More

Firstly the resort is good even though not knowing of the review and existence of the hotel, when i went there it really looked good even though with a small piece of land they could build such a beautiful environment resort. Room clean and nice, toilet was spectacular and the balcony view is superb(maybe just for me).

This place was a great find tucked away amongst tall concrete hotels in the nimenhemin district, which is a great tourist suburb. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Love chiang mai. A short walk form a massive westernised mall if that's your thing too. Rooms good quality, service fairly friendly, breakfasts a bit average but passable. Great swimming pool. Nice... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, the garden and pool area is really nice. The property is located off Nimman road which is a nice alternative to Chiang Mai central. Plenty of cafés/restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is ok, as are the staff, polite but not overly helpful. Sanngthews (red pick-up taxis) are 40b into old town per person, Tuk Tuks... If you wish to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the Night Bazaar area (for good ans bad), try the Nimmanhaemin Road area. That place is the one that the Thai people go out on the nights, usually on weekend nights. Yantarasri Hotel is located the soi 6 of that road. It's beautiful and very modern hotel, with... More

We stayed at Yantarasri at the very beginning of our tour of Thailand and Cambodia. I have to say that it set the bar for all hotels to come, as I often found myself wishing we were coming back to yantarasri in each city afterward. The staff were friendly, very courteous, and helpful with suggestions for activities, even when there... More

I have stayed at the Yantarasiri 4-5 times since 2011. I like the hotel's lush garden, inviting swimming pool, helpful staff and beautiful wooden buildings. It is also very reasonably priced. However, after my recent stay, I am sad to report that the condition of the rooms has declined too much to make staying there worthwhile. I stayed one night... More

I highly recomend you to book this boutique resort as it brought exactly what you wanna find in Chiang Mai - tranquility, pureness and hospitality. Located on Himmanhaemin Road (or shorter Nimmam Road), it just takes only 15 minutes from Chiang Mai Airport. This boutique resort is a complex of 4 separate buildings with wooden architecture and well-arranged landscape. Your... More

Ok so after reading the reviews on trip advisor and also how highly it was rated, we decided to stay at this hotel - which was probably one of the worst decisions we made during our trip to Chiang Mai. I don't even know where to start - from the rude service that we got to how old the hotel... More
