Good surrounding and location. The hotel's location is closing to Sunday walking street which is called"Tanon kon dern". Staffs provide excellence hospitality service which I really impressed. No wonder place for spending your vacations.Try to experience your vacation here.

We only stayed here one night - our final in Chiang Mai - but found it to be an excellent choice. The staff was friendly, room was incredibly clean, and packed with amenities. There was a bit of confusion as to whether or not breakfast was included (wasn't), but that wasn't a big deal. Locationally, the area is incredibly quiet,... More

My friend and I spent 5 nights here - lovely place. The staff are all very friendly and provided a map which included out the hotel - very helpful for taxis and also getting our bearings ( the lonely planet book did not go quite south enough). The pool and the little courtyard were nice and a great way to... More

We arrived for our first time in Chiang Mai and found a little gem known as "The Castle". This guesthouse is a great location in Chiang Mai with easy access to most attractions by foot (less than 5 min walk to the old city). Alternatively, Taxi/Tuk Tuk is easily available as well if you'd prefer to be chauffeured. The room... More

We travelled to Chiang Mai for 7 nights and decided having looked at other reviews to book a room at the Castle. The price was very reasonable, £22 a night including breakfast. We had the bigger room available but to be honest, it could have done with a coat of paint. Another minor criticism would be how hard the mattress... More

Located just outside the moat, this hotel is in an excellent location, just 2 minutes walk from the Old Town, meaning it's easy to get into town, but away from the backpackers main area. The rooms are nicely decorated, although smaller than I expected, and the safe was just too small to store the 13" laptop, however the staff offered... More

Our family of 4 stayed at The Castle Chiang Mai for 5 nights beginning of August. We booked 2 rooms through booking.com and paid a very good price. We requested connecting rooms or at least next to each other which was not a problem. Connecting family room was only available on the second day when staff promptly and efficiently transfered... We were 2 families with small children who traveled together. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in July. The place was very welcoming, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel workers was very courteous and helpful. The hotel itself has a lovely swimming pool. The disadvantage was mostly the distance from the hotel to the "civilization" and the... More

Our first room had a window facing the hallway with the view of the brick wall. The couple who stayed next to us were very loud at night, so we asked to switch rooms the next day. The second room was a lot better, because it was brighter, bigger and quieter. The location was a bit of a pain. Though... More

From start to finish (myself and my girlfriend stayed 3 nights) we were treated with absolute royalty. We asked for an upstairs non-smoking room and that's what we got. The AC worked 100%, the water in the shower was hot, there was a safe in the room. The breakfast was amazing (we got waffles) and they were very tasty. The... More
