Well located guesthouse near the Thae Pae Gate and inside the old city. An easy walk to most things local, including a very good fruit and vegetable market. Very cheap and xcellent restaurants 1-2 minutes walking distance (eg 'Cooking Love'). Plus there is even a 'Coffee Club' that sells very good western style food if you are desperate. The guesthouse... More

We had been coming to Chiang Mai for several years before finding Minicost. There are so many guesthouses and accommodations in the city--hundreds! This was a perfect find for us. It is immaculately clean and has beautifully designed and decorated rooms at an excellent price. It has a safe, and a fridge, coffee making kettle, tv, wifi, desk and wardrobe... More

This hotel was in a great location easily accessible to the bars and restaurants and offered at a great price! The lady on reception is lovely and is happy to help with anything you ask. Room was clean spacious however the fridge was not very cold for drinks we took back. I would most recommend this hotel for anyone visiting... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Minicost during the Loi Krathong festival. Our room was really nice - spacious, clean. The guesthouse has great location in the old town with immediate proximity to nice places to eat and get some drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful for everything we asked.

My son and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay here, after escaping after one night from a cheaper guesthouse nearby, which was majorly below par. We had a massive twin room on the third floor at Minicost with a nice shared balcony area to relax and lol across the rooftops nearby... AC was good, didn't use the TV, too... More

5 minute walk from Thapae Gate and the Sunday Walking Street. We had a beautiful room with ensuite, really clean, very comfortable bed and linen for 800baht a night. One of the most expensive places we have stayed on our trip but well worth it for a treat! There is a local Thai restaurant just around the corner where you... More

A few minutes walk from the old gate this Guesthouse has a real family friendly feel with authentic Thai charm decor. They made you feel very welcome and helped me whenever I had questions, Yosita is at front desk and she is the best always has a smile. It's a family run business and was great to watch them carry... You might think that at such a inexpensive rental something would be wrong, but no. Clean, good AC, great location, good wifi in the room, nice people running it. I will stay there on my next visit to Chiang Mai!

The last thing one would expect when arriving to their destination at almost midnight would be your guesthouse did not reserved the room for you despite having an email confirmation from Yosita. In the end, they managed to provide me a room at the top floor with shared bathroom and sharing the same floor with a bat too. Their safe... More
