I slept in one of the most comfortable beds ever, and the room itself -- warm and woody -- is done up in a traditional Thai style with a rustic bathroom that evokes the outdoors. Staff are extremely accommodating and very helpful. Love the location of this guesthouse, but be aware that the proximity to the Saturday night market means... More

I can't thank the wonderful people at Pak Chiang Mai enough! From making our reservation at the hotel to taking us to the airport to fly to Phuket they were absolutely wonderful. It was a lovely touched being welcomed to Chiang Mai by our driver who had a sign with our name on it waiting for us. Within 20 minutes... More

Great location in chiang mai, only issues involved noise in the room and the cost of day trips. Bathroom did begin to smell quite foul as well... Otherwise, a great spot with delicious food. Close to temples and shops.

I've done my fair bit share of traveling around the world, and I always try to choose B&B because you would get chance to get some real interaction. My stay at Pak Chiang Mai turned out to be the best experience I've ever had. The boutique hotel is conveniently located close to the south part of the old city. It... More

Very nice staff, nice rooms, good breakfast and great atmosphere. Free wifi and water and bicycles. Take a day trip with river-boat up to the farm-village! A day in the Zoo is great - not only for children

Spent a total of 9 nights at Pak Chiang Mai in two different rooms during my last visit to Chiang Mai. Always made to feel welcome when coming and going through the secret garden. The service and comfort was all one could ask for in a boutique guesthouse. The location was near perfect for the Flower Festival, and everything else... More

Chiang Mai is to Bangkok like Florence is to Rome. It's so charming and old world. Pak Chiang Mai was the perfect match to our down to earth three night stay in Chiang Mai. Pak Chiang Mai was rated #2 for B&Bs in Chiang Mai in the Summer of 2014 and it was the only one that met our criteria.... More

We recently spent 5 nights in this lovely hotel. Staff were really friendly & always happy to help with any information about surrounding area. Hotel is really central for exploring the city, which we did on the hotels bicycles. Had a room on the first floor, which was clean, airy, with fan & air conditioning. Lovely breakfasts & afternoon tea... More

We spent 3 nights at Pak Chiang Mai and could not have been happier. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We used their transportation to and from the airport. They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations, as well as booking tours and other activities. We had a 2 hour Thai massage on our day of arrival, which I... More
