Me and my boyfriend are from Edinburgh, Scotland and we are currently on holiday here there are no words to describe how beautiful this place is. On the Main Street of old town itself it's good to get around to see a lot of shops, bars, restaurants and little stalls on the streets. To get around here they use tuk... More

We arrived at U Chiang mai late on the 23rd on June 2015 around 21:30. We had a private hire through Kuoni from the airport to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel through the busy city we were greeted by the staff who took our luggage and sat us down in the reception area with a cold towel... More

My friend and I stayed at the U Chiang Mai for a few nights. The location was perfect, close to all of the major sites and cute shopping streets (easy to get a taxi as well), and yet tucked away in a little oasis away from the main road. The courtyard area with the pool was perfect for the first... More

I'm a bit at odds as to how to rate this hotel. On one hand, while it was a very pleasant stay, it didn't quite live up to expectations. On the other hand, I think that for a hotel in the Old City, the U Chiang Mai is probably as fancy as it gets. So I'm rating this hotel four... More

We stayed here on honeymoon for three nights in June 2015. It's a lovely hotel - small and personal. The rooms are lovely: clean and well decorated with nice extras such as a chess set, locally made soaps and silk robes. The hotel amenities are great - reading room, spa and pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly too. Would... More

Bed was nice and comfort although the room is quite small, great "whenever wherever" breakfast concept. Very good service and nice staff - I love everything here <3 There is Sunday walking streets just step out of the hotel...so convenient! Free WiFi in room was quite slow (Back then, I stayed on the 3rd floor Superior room for 3 nights...slow... More

This hotel has the best customer experience in the world. The team here frequently go the extra mile but never once over step the mark. They genuinely care and make you feel like part of the family. The hotel is now 7 years old but feels as fresh as the day it was born ! If you want a hotel... More

The staff are very friendly and the language barrier is not a problem. The hotel itself is described as a boutique hotel. We had booked a room for the 3 of us with our tour operator in the UK. The rooms are quite small and they are "tired" with drab colours and generally of a grubby appearance. The furniture is... More
