Great rooms, excellent service and a delicious breakfast. The staff was helpful making phone calls to book events, and the location was perfect - right in the middle of town and there's a ton of places you can walk to from the hotel. Breakfast included a hot dish as well as a choice of pastries/cereal/etc.

We had a beautiful stay here during the hot season, the air conditioning and pool were great to come back to after a very hot and busy day out in Chiang Mai. The hotel despite being on such a busy street is very quiet, and tranquil. The staff made our stay a breeze, from check-in to check out, booking us... More

This hotel is in a good location and the staff were lovely. Atmosphere is nice, although we did have noisy kids splashing and yelling most of the days, but I guess that isn't the hotels fault. I've stayed in many hotels in Chiang Mai and to be honest, I'm not sure its worth the extra cost to stay at this... More

We picked this hotel based on reviews and the hotel's location. What we realized was that when the temps outside are in the upper 90s, location doesn't matter at all because it's too hot to walk anywhere. With that realization, I wish we would have stayed outside the city walls where the hotel rates were lower. I did not like... More

This hotel is incredibly considerate and arranged us to stay at the ground level (save me all the stairs walking) with direct pool access as I've requested for this baby-moon trip. I know it's probably our last romantic trip away before my baby arrive in September, the reason why we picked to stay here is that its prime location being... More

Stayed for 3 nights during Songkran and we had a fabulous time. The location of the hotel within the old city walls is fabulous, the walking street market is set up on the street outside. The room was beautiful with great facilities, the coffee was yummy and the toiletries smell wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, free wi-fi and... More

Stayed here in late April 2015 and had a great visit. The location, as others have noted, is unbeatable, esp. if you are around for the Sunday night market. Also loved the free bicycles for touring around, and the pool! Such a relief from the heat. I'd recommend booking a room on the ground floor as you have direct access... More

Like I said in my title, the location is PERFECT and it feels so good to walk into this oasis of tranquility after a busy day shopping or touring. The hotel itself is good, nothing spectacular but no major complaints about it. I would def stay here again however I do have some suggestions/ improvements they should try to make... More

I thought this hotel was great. The room was beautiful and the daybed on the balcony was a great place to take a break and read. I had noted prior to going there that some of the reviews comment on low lighting. The tones of the roomer are darker tones with a more purplish undertone, but I thought there was... More

My husband and I stayed at the U Chiang Mai for 3 days on our honeymoon and loved it! To start off, the hotel is in the heart of the old city of Chiang Mai. Most attractions are within walking distance from the hotel and if you are there on a Sunday, you are in luck because all you need... More
