It's hard to see how you could go past this little gem. Beautifully designed hotel with modern rooms and exceptional staff who all posess wonderful manners. Loved the fact it's in the quieter part of Chiang Mai but still a quick 5 min Tuk-tuk trip to the action. All this at a decent price! more

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at U Chiang Mai at the beginning of October this year. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly...as Thai people usually are. Stayed in thailand for 4 weeks in different location - this by far the best hotel and most amazing very helpful staff! Especially the recomended Mexican restaurant down the road... We stayed for four nights and had booked direct so got a better deal than the travel agent could do even at their wholsesale prices ! We organised the hotel car to pick us up and a taxi would have been cheaper but next time ! We had booked the larger room and it was perfect. The king size bed... more

Hotel was fantastic. Rooms great. Wonderful attention to detail. You even choose the fragrance of soap you want upon arrival. Pool area very nice. Breakfasts tasty. Staff friendly. (The staff even tells you to lookout for stubbing your toes on the bedframe, which sounded odd at the time until I found myself stubbing my toe at least 2 or 3... more

We spent 3 amazing nights at the U Chiang Mai. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to some beautiful temples, the night bazaar and restaurants. Lovely journey in the center of Chiang Mai at a very reasonable price. Good atmosphere and staff friendly. Comfortable room, towels changed two times a day, complimentary drinks and breakfast served everywhere and everytime you want!!
