We only stayed one night there. It's convenient to access to night market. The hotel was located near to Chiang Mai night market bazaar with around 5 minutes walk. There were many activities there, you could buy, eat, massage etc... The hotel room was simple and nice, but the air conditioner was not really cool even turned to the max.... More

We traveled in a group to Chiang Mai for a motorcycle tour. Hotel was about 15-20min away from the airport on a traffic free day. Check-in was a fuss free and we all were given rooms on the 3rd floor Rooms appeared very dated and old. Luckily it wasn't that dirty saved for the toilet with old black dirt marks... More

Good things to expect at Tawan Court include an excellent location close to the night market, pleasant staff, and an elevator that usually works. Breakfast is boring and most calories will come from fat. Talk with the kitchen staff some and you can improve the eggs from mostly raw to mostly cooked and even get your ham warm. There was... very good if you rent a motorbike, if you grab a jumbo to old town its 20baht. otherwise it s far from everything except night bazaar. If you look for a place very quiet and not very crowded it s a good place. For the price, the breakfast is NO good. only two choices not exciting. they should make an... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the number of food options near Tawan Court. Along Charoenprathet Rd, opposite side of the hotel, there is a famous shop selling fish ball noodles. The lanes (sois) between Charoenprathet Rd and Changklan Rd where the night bazaar is has some good food options. Soi 1 where the mosque is located has halal food like... More

Quiet is good but too quiet? The location is perfect because near to food bazaar. But when night comes theres nothing to see at the hotel location. 3 star for hotel room. U only can see the hotel worker in the morning for breakfast. Rate? Cheap for budget travel.

Tawan Court is your perfect, budget hotel in Chiang Mai! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in February and it was just what we needed! Location is perfect! It's based around the corner from the Night Bazaar, and is a safe walk during the day and evening. Further into old town is also more than walkable, with... More

Great spot about a block away from the Night bazaar. We would go out each night walk a block and enjoy music along with some of the best and freshest green papaya salad, pad thai, and fruit smoothies. Walking about two blocks north takes you to the oldest wet market in Chaing Mai (Warorot Market). If you go early enough... More

The Tawan court is a small family run hotel within walking distance of the Night Bazaar and the Ping River. The old city is 1-2 km away (15-20 mins walking) or only 20 Baht by Songthaew. The rooms are sparsely furnished and small to mid-size but perfectly comfortable and clean with own bathroom. Breakfast is included but is fairly simple... More
