Tawan Court is your perfect, budget hotel in Chiang Mai! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in February and it was just what we needed! Location is perfect! It's based around the corner from the Night Bazaar, and is a safe walk during the day and evening. Further into old town is also more than walkable, with... More

Great spot about a block away from the Night bazaar. We would go out each night walk a block and enjoy music along with some of the best and freshest green papaya salad, pad thai, and fruit smoothies. Walking about two blocks north takes you to the oldest wet market in Chaing Mai (Warorot Market). If you go early enough... More

The Tawan court is a small family run hotel within walking distance of the Night Bazaar and the Ping River. The old city is 1-2 km away (15-20 mins walking) or only 20 Baht by Songthaew. The rooms are sparsely furnished and small to mid-size but perfectly comfortable and clean with own bathroom. Breakfast is included but is fairly simple... More

This hotel is a short walk from the Night Bazaar, the bars on Loy Kroh, and the Ping River. Plenty of coffee bars and inexpensive restaurants nearby also. Underground parking, a rare feature in such a compact hotel. Service was friendly even though confirming availability seemed a little chaotic. My room was very comfortable, a bit on the small side... not excellent yet everything was good. I did not have hot water for the first day only to find out later that I had to press the button a lil harder than usual to turn on hot water. Other than that, the hotel was clean, neat, room service everyday, breakfast included. Staff was very nice and friendly. The bellboy guy... More

We booked 2 triple rooms with extra beds in each room (there was 8 of us in total), this was not ready for us when we checked in and took a bit to have them sort it out for us. The rooms were clean, however after the beds had been changed/made on the second day, we found a dead gecko... More

We moved from Koh Samui to Chiang Mai on a whim, and had to find a place quickly without knowing anything about Chiang Mai or where to stay for that matter. We decided on this place and booked online not knowing what we would really be getting when we showed up. Overall we enjoyed our stay and contemplated staying long... More

This hotel is good value for money. it is clean and the staff are really nice. However there are a few things. the outside window opens on to their courtyard and the window only has sheer curtains. at night the lights are on so you need to wear your eye shades unless you like sleeping in the light. The breakfast... More

Quiet location. 5 mins walk to nearest red light district, bars and massages. 15-20mins walk to the old city. Internet is bad during peak hours (morning and night), the connection is good around the noon (when there're least people in). Furniture is wood and old, some started to rot. Beds and pillow cases have few dirt blotches. Towels are changed... More
