Greeted by friendly staff, the room was fairly small and simple with a hard bed but that proved to be great as my back gave me no trouble throughout my stay. Breakfast quite simple and standard fare for Thai hotels but nevertheless adequate. The location was great, less than 5 minutes from Tha Pae gate and closs to the night... More

Nice atmosphere, good location (hightlights within walking distance). Friendly staff. Lots of musquito's near entrance, breakfast was basic (egg, toast, fruit) but good. Room was clean, bed was a bit hard. Stayed there for four nights, staff can help out with excursions. Good value for money!

The room, booked through Venere.com, is acceptable, but quite old and small. We found the staff quite unfriendly. During the check-in we signed a document for the assumption of responsability for the valuables not kept in the safe. Unfortunately during our first night someone stole our money that we left outside the safe locking the room's door. Location is good,... More

As I said. Cockoroaches, everywhere. We were on a honeymoon trip, and, even we mentioned that in the reservation, they located us in a small filthy and dusty room with a non working air conditioning. Whoever who has been to Thailand will know how essential is the ac. They checked us in, accepted our payment and once they left us... More

Nice and friendly guesthouse in a quiet area of Chiang Mai and very close to te centre and the nightmarket. We were upgraded and had a really big room with airconditioning on the topfloor. The room is good and nicely decorated but the bathroom is a bit old and needs some renovation. Especially the shower because the cable is to... More

They upgraded us when we first arrived... At 8am the next day we discovered why: there was a huge building site outside pur window and a huge amount of noise. We asked to change rooms and they said we couldn't and it was outside of their control. The room was fine, I'm sure the location was fine. Nothing special. but... More

This was our third stay in 6 years and we were sad to see that it has become a bit run down and that the prices have increased. We booked their best deluxe room sight unseen for our last leg of a 3 week trip. The rooms are large and generally quiet, decorated with locally crafted furniture. The first clue... More

I've stayed at Thapae b.h for 3 nights and 4 days. 3 blocks away from thapae gate. 10min walk from the night bizaar. room services was great. Breakfast is good. There was construction going on in the back of the boutique house though. But most of the day time, i was out so it really didn't affect my stay. I... More

We got our room upgraded to 3rd floor but unfortunately the bed was kinda noisy!! squeeking noise whenever we move on the bed... :-p Room is clean but quite cramp... More
