I like the hotel very much. It's a little outdated and the pool furniture has seen better days, But the staff and my room were great. Nice to have a pool to dip into and it was 10ft from the yoga studio I practiced at every day. Easily accessible to town as well. I'm a walker and while Chiang Mai... More

Most of it was oke, you get what you pay for off course. Dont expect anything shiny. Bathroom was kinda small though. Breakfast was just simple, not anything special. Hotel is close by to everything but i advise to take a motorbike to get around here. The street is kinda small to drive with a car trough it.

We stayed during Songkran so we only needed a bed and a shower. This place is great value for money if you're looking for something relatively simple. Pool is good, however, the only downside is the sun loungers are literally falling apart. Rooms are cleaned every day along with complimentary water and fresh towels. Breakfast in the morning is included... More

We ended up four nights here and for us this was luxurious after staying in dorms and really cheap rooms. Here we had our own toilet, fridge, tv and air conditioning! Bupatara also have a nice pool though it was closed our first days, the breakfast is not that good. Tasteless, but for us the toasts and the tasteless eggs... More

The pool was a nice relaxation after whole day of traveling. The location is right in the center and close to many temples. Breakfast was very poor and there were some mold in the bathroom but overall it was a nice experience.

We stayed on the top floor of the bupatara, and oh my, what an AMAZING view. Yes, the place is a bit dated. What can you complain about when the place is dirt cheap? In the standard double we were given, there is a fridge and air con (two things that matter most) and a comfy bed that has given... More

The hotel is in a great spot inside the old city, the service is good, we arrived on the overnight train from Bangkok at 0815 and arrived at the hotel about an hour later and they allowed us to check-in straight away. The room is serviced daily and breakfast was included but not worth worrying about. The bed was a... More

I decided to go to Chiang Mai, at the last minute. This hotel was the first one I read about on a hotel booking website. The hotel is modern, very clean, very quiet. The free wifi was very good and the large flat screen tv let me watch FOX NEWS (USA). The owner and the staff were really nice and... More

Room was old fashioned, small and stank of must. Place looked like a prison in the corridors. Breakfast was horrible - cold eggs and sausages. Guest house was ages away from the main bit of the town. Only good thing was the pool. We booked for two nights but left after one.
