The Tivoli hotel was recommended by a friend of mine. It's modern nice and super comfortable. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Our room were large, clean and the bed was super comfortable. The amenities like the TV, pool or room service are high quality. The roof-top pool and bar is great. Situated away from the tourists, The Tivoli is about 20 minutes in a taxi from the shopping areas (Siam Paragon, MBK, etc) and is in a relatively quiet residential area of Bangkok. The rooms are good and well kept.. My criticism of the place is that the chamber maids cannot follow simple instructions. I put do not disturb on the... More

Lovely, quiet, clean hotel with very nice, clean pool on the roof. Yummy noodles out on the street and a good buffet breakfast included. My husband had a massage and it was great and the lady very friendly to chat with.

Enjoyed staying at the Tivoli immensely. The room was large, well air-conditioned, bed was fantastically comfortable and service was welcoming and helpful. The Tivoli is convenient for Suvarnabhumi Airport (30 mins), close to Lumpini Park and Bangkok Centre is a taxi ride away. It's worth getting a street map with the hotel location marked on though because it is a... More

Tivoli is in a nice neighbourhood away from Bangkoks many super highways. It is a short taxi ride to all that Bangkok has to offer and a stones throw away from great restaurants, massage places and a 7 11. The rooms a modern, spacious, well lit, airy and clean. The staff are helpful although not often seen due to the... More

I've been going there since 2008 when the hotel opened, it was just great, nice pool and bar on the roof where you could sit and have a drink or a snack overlooking the city view. 5 years later, it's dirty, concrete is cracked, bar is closed. The carpets in the corridors are disgusting. The new ownership is too busy... More

This hotel had a deal on with B/F etc and it was extremely good value. Breakfast was really of high quality and the service was spot on. The room was huge with tea/coffee making and morning newspaper. The bathroom was excellent with toiletries supplied. Back home, I would be paying in the $$ for a room of such quality whereas... More

I landed in bangkok just over a week ago and spent the first week at Tivoli Hotel in Sathorn a couple of hundred meters from Lumpini Park tucked down the back of the embassy district in Soi Si Bumphen, well maintained rooms, icy cold air con, and a fantastic roof top pool. Only downside was breakfast, it was plentiful and... More

We chose to stay at this hotel after reading a very positive Frommer's review. However, our experience there was highly disappointing. I thought I could easily walk from the metro station to the hotel, as the map indicated it was very near by - well that was certainly not the case. It's easily a 15 minute trek, which in the... More
