Service in Thailand become awful. Sooo rude, unfriendly... now is 3.17 AM and we are sitting on the street with rats because check in at 4. Will never come again. Prices reasonable - true, but rooms are so dirty

We stayed at the star dome for almost a week and I liked the place.Being close to the center of the Khao San madness on one hand but having a nice, big, clean room( for a very reasonable price for this area) where you can relax made our stay enjoyable. But I must admit that probably we've been lucky to get a... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are reasonably priced, the location great and the food in the restaurant cheap and really yum. If you are travelling on a budget this place is the best you are going to get as the rooms are clean, tidy, and not too hot as they have fans + aircon. Compared to most... More

Rooms are clean, and cheap. Bathrooms look a bit old and might be cleaner. The biggest problem is thai disco next door, so do not take rooms on the right side of builing (especially 1st and 2nd floor) if you planning to sleep. For the plus: Rooms are always avalaible.

We didn't stay at the hotel, we just stopped here because of the 70 baht Chang (big bottle) special at the restaurant out front. Service was OK - the beer was cold, and good value. This was where we chilled for a few hours everyday to kill time - better than the main drag of Khao San where there are... More

Our money were stolen there. We went to the police office but nothing has changed. Be careful, try to stay and eat in other restaurants or hotels. If it would help u to avoid problems there, the amount was 300€. !!

I ate in the restaurant and had a Thai steak for 320 baht. It was surprisingly good but they could have put more chips with it. It is also a good place to just sit and have a drink as the drinks are reasonably priced.

At 560 Baht this hotel is good value. Clean room with aircon, hot shower and a comfortable bed. Close to Khooson Rd with it many bars and restaurants. Both roads come alive in the evenings particularly on Saturdays. Close to local markets offering a good range of clothing and tourist goods. The Royal Palace and temples are a short Tuktuk... More

Given the veritable zoo like atmosphere in the area where it's located and inflated prices, the Star Dome does quite ok as a budget upgrade to the bacpacker hostel. + at 500+ baht per night for a compact room, but by no means a closet, with air con, it serves the purpose + good location right in the center of... The worst restaurant we have been in thailand. They spent more than 50 minutes to bring our dinner. We asked mussels, it was in bad state, Thai beef, was pork and it have been made hours before because it was so hard and dry, and fetuchine carbonara withouth egg, and we got spaguetti with mushroom. We told them, but they didn't... More
