This place is definitely no-frills. However, the area is great! There is a night market that sets up daily on the same street! The staff is helpful and patient. There is a basic breakfast set up on the first floor. Very quiet. Loved our stay!

The hostel is located in a quiet street that is close to almost everything you need. Near BTS station and famous night food market. I noticed that there are also more older guests when we stayed there and less of those wild party animals that you see everywhere. If you want peace, quiet but still social, this is the place... Excellent hostel, very welcoming and near BTS station which means very easy to get around in town! Safety is good, key card to get into sliding door. See staff constantly cleaning- there's a sense of cleanliness- but may need to pay attention to the drawers inside the cabinets. The drawers in room 314 was dirty... Saw one, just kept it... More

Situated at the ''hoity-toity" part of Sukhumvit in Soi 38 (pop Soi 55) near the Thonglor BTS, HI Sukhumvit's location highlights the best of the Bangkok at a city of contrasts. At the Sukhumvit end of Soi 38 is a small night food market, offering delicious local feasts (don't be shy, just point at someone meal, smile, and nod). The... More

The hostel is situated at an appx 5min walking distance from the Thong Lo BTS train station, also there are plenty of road sibe food stall along the Sukhumvit 38 street to the hostel and these food stall only open at night. 24 hours convenient store along the main road also come really handy for travellers. I stayed in a private room with two others and it was spacious and clean. My only complaint with it was that the pillows were leather which wasnt very comfortable. The shared bathroom was fine. We didnt use the communal kitchen. There was a lovely outside area and roof terrace for socialising with other travellers. Good location on a street... More

Stopped here after returning to Bangkok and before our flight out. Being close to a BTS station allowed us to see different parts of Bangkok (Silom/Siam) and get to the airport easily. We also loved eating at Soi 38 night market. In the hotel, a Twin room was very nice, there are washing machines on the roof (40 baht) with... More

At a good location, right by the Thong Lo BTS station and right next to the Soi 38 night street food market. We had dinner there every night and there's just so much variety. Each bed has a socket, a light, and curtains to cover your bed. Pros: good location, next to food market, very helpful and kind staff who... More

Has everything a hostel needs, clean showers/toilets, friendly staff, clean rooms. We were 5 and we slept in the 8 people bedroom, paid 11$ each for the night. Left early morning to catch a bus at Ekkamai station, which is very close. Great night market just a walk away.
