We arrived at Erawan with a shock: our booked triple room was already been given away. Thats strange, especially because we booked it a month ago. Normally I would say, that happens in Asia, but you would expect better from a experienced hotel with so many rooms and guests. But no. And there was no sorry or any possibility for... More

Small, but okay. Don't get you expectations up high, because this guesthouse is simple and not for a luxury stay. Everything worked fine in our room and you get free water. You are 5 min away from Khao San Road, the place to be in Bangkok. Staff was friendly. Only annoying thing was the tailor suit guys you had to... More

The staff were horrible and unhelpful from check in - the man from reception came at us (a group of 3 girls) with a wooden bat. I felt unsafe and not welcome for the entire stay! Our electricity was turned off at 3am and they demanded money for the room then and there. After feeling extremely threatened we paid and... More

Good central location, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a five minute walk to khaosan road. Room itself was quiet and clean, but pretty compact. I arrived a few hours before my boyfriend's flight so checked in and paid for the two of us. When he arrived we went to go upstairs but the reception staff wouldn't let him up,... More

We stayed here for a couple of days so we could be near khao san Road and it was fine for that. Good points: Location was fab- not too close so had a quiet night but only a couple minutes walk so could get amongst it when we wished. Nice clean room and decent bathroom. Staff were friendly, but we... More

First off the staff were not very helpful. When we arrived at around 8pm the woman at reception didn't even look up at us! She quoted a price and I asked for the wifi so I could check it against booking.com but apparently 'no wifi till check in'. We decided to stay anyway, regardless of her rudeness. The room was... We stayed at Erawan for 2 nights when we first arrived in Thailand. I don't think I would've have wanted to stay longer, but it's fine for a short stay. Rooms are small and basic. It's in a good location and for a good price, that's about the only thing going for it.

Slightly tucked away, the taxi driver couldn't find it so we had to get out and walk down a narrow road until we came across it. The staff here were helpful, we had booked in advance to stay for 1 night, but turned up a day early and they were able to accommodate us. They advised us on the best... More

After traveling in Thailand for 6 weeks I decided to end my stay at Erawan House. Big mistake. The bathroom was overrun by ants and when I told them about it they sprayed the bathroom leaving everything wet with insecticide and dead ants scattered everywhere. Despite the fact that I paid to stay in a private room they did not... More

Nice location in the backpacker neighborhood ! Near a lot of tourist sites in Bangkok. A bit far from the public air train/subway. My advise would be to go downtown taking the public boat (the pier is 100m away from the hotel). Go down to Central Pier to join the BTS line.
