Needed a place for one night. Place is bare bones with friendly staff and an elevator. They post taxi prices and have a scale in the lobby. Ask for a quiet room. The place is clean . Shower never got above Luke warm

We booked this hotel with a budget as most people do and we wanted to stay near Khao San Road but not ON it so stayed on Rambuttri Road. This road still has a lot to offer with food and drinks and had a great atmosphere! The hotel itself is basic but nice for the price! We got a three... More

It's budget hotel with luxury standard. Clean, safe and good. It's worth money what I paid for. It's suitable with the guest who come alone or the couple along with the guest who come in family too. You will not disappoint with this hotel. Believe me...you will like it.

The room is comfortable enough and has a nice, clean bathroom and powerful AC. The location is also convenient for walking to the Grand Palace and other cool, touristy places (we enjoy walking around new cities, but if you don’t want to walk, go out to the main road and hail a fast, cheap taxi meter). The front desk staff... More

This was the first place my bf and I stayed while in Bangkok. It was a good room. pretty basic. we just planned on using it for sleeping. Its on khao san, so ask for a room in the back or wear earplugs! unless you're the party type, then you'll be up all night to enjoy the madness!

The location us better than Kao San road but if you go to the other side of the street there are places which are the same for half the price. I know this cause we went and looked after the second night. If you do stay here, have one of their massages as they are more relaxing because they are... More

We had stayed here before, a couple of years earlier. As we were only in Bangkok overnight we came back. The location is Fantastic right in the heart of Khao San. The hotel is pretty basic but fine for a short stay. There is no pool or outdoor area apart from Khao San. However the hotel was suitable for our... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
