First the good points: Maduzi is an independent in a sea of global hotel chains. After at least 10 previous stays in BKK always at one of the well-known chain hotels we craved something different. The room was fabulous, amazing bathroom, huge comfortable bed and quality furnishings and design in abundance. Some nice touches such as free welcome drinks, all... More

Very interesting place, although not exactly what I expected. A mid-rise hotel near BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit, it is quite convenient from a location perspective. Based on the photos, I was expecting more of a modern, gleaming glass hotel but pulled up late night to a fairly nondescript property. Once inside, it feels quirky and funky. Floors numbered M-A-D-U-Z-I... More

I booked this hotel last minute and got a very good rate directly from the hotel. I didn't use the breakfast so no idea about the food. I was told the meals are very good. Rooms are spacious. I had the lowest category but even that was pretty large. Great Panpuri bathroom amenities. Bathroom has a very nice and cool... More

We spend two nice nights in Maduzi. The food is amazing, and service very fast and efficient. Nice romantic hotel, with amazing and huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath:) Very good location! Close to the train station(3 min walk), and Terminal 21 shopping centre(5 min walk).

Spent two wonderful nights at the Maduzi. The staff are amazing. Food was great. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Linens were nice and the bed was huge. Perfect sanctuary after the day's hustle and bustle around Bangkok. There is a nice secluded patio off the restaurant where you can enjoy the open air and a cup of coffee.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are beautiful. The jacuzzi in room which they offer, is outstanding. Truly beautiful. The room is a bit too dark and it could help adding lights there. Breakfast is very basic with extremely slow service. We had Capuccino in the bar and it was great great cup of coffee which is not... More

Dear Khun Iritv, We are sorry that Sukhumvit area is not your preferred choice for Bangkok. It is more of the residential, shopping and business and not the tourist cultural attractions area. Although it is a transportation hub for airports and better access to outskirt of Bangkok. We do glad that you have enjoyed our coffee and it is available... More

I really wasn't sure of which area in Bangkok to stay in. Finally, I picked a central Sukhumvit location with a BTS and MRT station just a short walk away. I went with the smaller Maduzi and did not regret it. While it offers no pool, the very clean and stylish rooms are of enormous size, have very comfortable beds,... More

Dear Khun Hanc99, Thank you very much for your positive comments. We have already placed dimmers into our AC system but I believe it maybe still loud for some of our guests that may not be used to the AC in the tropic. We very sorry for that. We do hope that you will come back and visit us again... More

This was intended to be a one-night stay at the end of an 18 night trip before our early a.m. flight back to the US (turned into 2 nights due to a snowstorm in the US). We booked a Classic Room through Orbitz only a few days before at a non-refundable rate of $105 per night including taxes. This rate... More

Good location, the Skytrain-Station "Asok" and the MRT-Station "Sukhumvit" can be reached in a few minutes. Our room was very nice, large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is primarily frequented by business travellers, fortunately there were no travel groups.

Stayed at Maduzi for almost a week in October with my husband whilst on holiday in Bangkok. We prefer boutique hotels over large chains and frequently choose SLH hotels so that combined with reviews is why we had settled on Maduzi. If there was a 'good' rating available I would have chosen that over 'very good' because it was better... More

Dear Madame, We are sad that our property is not to your liking. The design of the room and the lighting was done on purpose but if guest do wish to have more lighting we can provide more light stands for our guests. Normally our housekeeping staff will not touch guest properties unless been asked by guest to fold up... More
