Down a side street only a five minute walk from Asoke BTS and Terminal 21 this is a great place for the money. We arrived in the evening and were met by three smiling staff who couldn't do enough for us. These same three staff were there every morning and evening - still smiling and friendly. The room was spotless... More

Ok, so maybe this isn't a guest house that normally would get 5 points - but, I really like the place so that's what I'm giving it. I've been going here for years and have always gotten great service and clean room - never any worries about theft - and the place has a great restaurant. Family owned and they... More

Stayed there 2 weeks. Walking distance to Skytrain and Soi Cowboy, shopping and nightlife. Guest friendly hotel with good service, breakfast, clean rooms with good A/C. Friendly staff. No complaints. Would stay there again. Few bars near hotel and generally very quiet and relaxing accommodation in the midst of crazy busy Bangkok.

Have visited many times, tried others but always seem to return. Prices are reasonable, includes breakfast, and they have provided free parking when we have the need. Their location allows a short walk to the Asoke sky trains and the underground. It is not a new contemporary boutique hotel but a classic Thai. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with room... More

Seeing the rave reviews of this hotel, I had booked a standard room thru booking.com for my stay in Bangkok after returning from Cambodia. While staying in another hotel nearby in soi8 in Sukimvit, I decided to see my reserved room in this hotel Despite staying nearby within walking distance,I had a difficult time in locating the hotel as it... This is a lovely guesthouse just off the main drag and within two block walk of Starbuck's. The clerks were friendly and spoke fair English. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed meeting expatriated Americans and Brits who make this their vacation home away from their homes in other parts of Thailand. I am a woman over 50 who frequently... More

We stayed here for one night during a stop over in Bangkok. We booked it due to its proximity to the embassy to collect our passports. The guesthouse is a bit dated but had free wifi which reached all the rooms, a nice (and cheap) restaurant and the staff we couldn't fault, they were fantastic. We were able to check... More

I was backpacking across Thailand and this place was a perfect find. Awesome staff and the rooms were suitable considering the price. The big thing this place has going for is its location. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! We felt safe and comfortable and their restaurant on the bottom floor is pretty darn good as well! I would stay here again.

Firstly make sure that you have a detailed map, written in Thai, to give to the taxi driver or he will not be able to find this well-concealed place. However once you arrive it is hard to find fault: 1. Rooms are comfy and quite large for Thai standards, with a king size bed for just a little extra (recommended)... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
