I booked this hotel months before my trip because it was close to the Airport Link and seemed like a decent price. Looking back, I'm sure I could have found better for the same or cheaper price. WiFi is 100 baht per day if you want it in your room. Their breakfast buffet was small and not included with my... More

Most horrible hotel I ever visited. Cheap yes and near to the airport link, but beware: Sewage stinks, lice on the wall, fleas in bed, bed overcast has never ever been changed, pubic hair in bathtub and you need shoes to walk on the floor. I missed a HAZMAT suit. This probably sounds like a joke, but it is the... More

I've stayed all over Bangkok and Thailand over the last 12 years. I chose this place because it was on the airport linc train line but that is all that I can say good about it. The rooms are old. The beds are tiny and uncomfortable and the blankets are itchy. I called downstairs to ask about internet but after... More

Right at the hart of Phya Thai train station, booked this hotel for this is also accessible to and from the airport express and to any other train station. Plus tourist attractions are also near if you will take a taxi and just mention this train station. Their rooms do have quite enough space even if you book just a... More

I would like to recommend a cafe at the hotel, they sell various kinds of food from Thai/American breakfast, steak, sandwitch, and Thai food. The price of foid and drink is reasonable. I recommend to try Thai style crispy noodle and pork rib bbq steak. The cafe is at the first floor of Florida Hotel which can be accessed by... More

Old and in need of refurbishing, wich is what they actually do right now,. Very close to Skytrain to Airport wich is why we picked Florida. Clean but low standard. Nice staff with good english. When we were there the pool was under renovation so i did not see it. We skipped breakfast.

The beds are very hard! You won't get a double bed unless you book a 'delux' room. There is nothing delux about this hotel. It is terribly run down; the air conditioner barely worked and the shower couldn't manage more than luke warm. Awful place.

As many of the other reviews state, this hotel is close to BTS Payathai next to airport link - so easy transit to and from the airport... Yes, it's retro and needs a renovation but it's cheap and very, very convenient and as long as the aircon works - who cares? Have a look at what the airport hotel(s) charge... More

I stayed in this hotel October 30, I booked the room online for $28 and they charged me $39 and would not honor the discounted booking. The lady at the front desk was rude and impolite and dismissed my complaint about the price saying she did not understand English when she had been fluent up until seeing my printed booking... More

Actually I and my family stayed in this hotel many times because it is convenient as it is very close to BTS Payathai next to airport link. This hotel I heard is run by family business so they won't service you that much seems like they don't care lol. The receptionist talks like ghost. The rooms in 4th floor are... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
