Hotel was in good area with many shops and restaurants around and metro, and sky train within 5-7 minute walk, as well as shopping mall near by. Reception staff was friendly and efficient. Room was reasonably clean however some of the furniture could do with replacement, e.g.bed headboard has seen better days as it was peeling off. The room itself... More

Good point: Comes with a simple gym and dipping pool. That's all. Bad points: Very dirty. I saw stains on my towel, saw torn bed sheets, can tell that they wash the pillow that's why the cotton in my pillow is crumpled together. Bad housekeeping service too. I turn on the 'Make up my room' light before I went out... More

The hotel is old, dirty and not worth a stay even at a low price. Aircondition was not working, the analog TV set is at least 15 years old and had no channels other than some blurry Arabic channels. I have no idea how this hotel got so many stars because nothing about it is nice.

Our room was filled with ants, the view was not as advertised (we could only see the neighboring building) and the bed had a slump in the mattress, making this the worst hotel we stayed in in all of Thailand in the 2 weeks we were there. The breakfast was ok, but they take your plates from you before you... More

Don't come here if you have other choices. Receptionists barely speak English, bathroom not completely clean, and they will try to con you to take a taxi to airport and won't help you get a taxi to the nearest airport railway. Will never come back here.

Great customer service at check in and check out. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable room. Great value for the price. Good, central location. I will be happy to stay here again the next time I return to Bangkok.

This place is well-priced and very conveniently located near Bumrungrad Hospital. The furnishings are relatively new but the walls and doors are filthy. There were stains all over my room walls, even blood stains. This was also true of the doors. It looks like no one cleans these obvious dirty areas. The TV played mostly Arabic language stations. The restaurant... More

This is my 4th visit to this hotel and since my last visit this hotel has changed a lot. it only DOWNGRADED. I was previously so satisfied with this hotel but now I will try to never go back to this hotel ever again. They have fired most of their good professional employees and now there is mostly new faces... More

This hotel is my regular abode for the first three days in Bangkok when ever I come just because it is next to Bumrungrad International Hospital where I come every after three months for medical checkups. After my check ups, the hospital boy puts me in a wheel chair and brings me to the hotel. It is very convenient for... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
