The pictures on the website definitely looks better then what is really is. The rooms were very small and compact. However there is a nightclub on the top level so might please some singles. more

Travelled with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. Superb location, right in the heart of the nightlife. Great bar on the rooftop... the rooms were comfortable and clean... front desk was very helpful... the hotel restaurant was excellent... all in all, had a superior experience here. We went to Bangkok for leisure trip but on a budget as we wanted to spend our money on shopping(stating the obvious) so hotel accomodation for us needed to be 1. part of a chain for presumed security 2. I' ve been staying in Le Fenix since it's opening as it is in a great location if you like night life in bangkok (close to qbar and Bedsupperclub). Over the years it seems that no maintenance has been done and what at the time was looking great has started to get old (corridor, floor, lift) the rooms are nice... more

from outside you'll be thinking...."man i got a great deal this is gonna be great!!"... and when it was brand new.... you were....problem is doesn't look like any maintenance or cleaning has been done since then. overall not too bad....cool bar area...flatscreen tv....service fine...would recommend only to YOUNG travelers that want "cool" place close to bars....women used to nice hotels... more

The location of Le Fenix is convenient both for the BTS and for clubbing (Bed Supper around the corner, Q Club across the street). Porters and front desk are efficient, and the standard rooms are ok. Some features (like the white floors) do not seem to be well thought-through for a hotel and the quaint L-shaped windows don't give you... more

I had a standard room, it’s best to try and get a room on the higher floors as you are less likely to be affected by traffic noise. stayed there for two nights and well had a beautiful time...the location is great i could see the BED SUPPER CLUB from our room and well the Q-bar was right there in front (almost)..and that aint all the Hapa spa is 5 minutes away...Nana BTS station is 5 minutes walking... We stayed at Le Fenix in January 2009. The hotel itself is ok, especially for the price, rooms are enough when you plan do be outside most of the day, smells a lot when you come back and the aircon was out, that's also why you have to sleep with aircon all the time, which is quite noisy.
