This is more a B&B, than hotel, it is an old mansion by the river, which has been remodeled. The location is great - on the river, beautiful views of the Wat Arun across the river, very romantic. It is centrally located and close to Wat Pho and the Palace, as well as to a dock station for the river... More

We arrived late at night. We had arranged transfer from the airport to this hotel, through the Arun Residence, for the prearranged price of 1500 baht. This was about three times what, I find out later, the going rate was. We had exchanged dollars for baht in Tokyo on the way. I had given my wife two 500 baht and... More

We stayed there for 1 noght arriving in BKK. Hotel is very well placed along the river, has a nice restaurant terrasse and bar upstairs overlooking the river. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had issue with air conditionning, and have been upgraded to the terrasse suite. Helpful staff, to reccommend !

I start with how I end up booking this Hotel. I read in a magazine about the beautiful scene of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) with picture shooting from a nearby cafe. However I do not like having in a crowded place, and trying to post a picture where too many people around, and you may not get the best... More

My wife and I stayed here for only 1 night, but absolutely loved it. It has a small, homey feel. We splurged for the Arun Suite, and it was totally worth it. The view of Wat Arun was stunning. There are a lot of stairs up to the suite, and it looked like most of the other rooms have a... More

We stayed in this hotel during the Loy Krathong Festival last August 2014. I chose this one because of its proximity to the Chao Phya river, in order to have the best views of the Loy Krathong river festivities, as well as Wat Arun. Pros: We were given the Jasmine Suite, which provided a wonderful view of Wat Arun and... More

Arun Residence is a lovely boutique hotel. Small yet with character. Convenient location to visit all historical sites and a walkable distance to flower market. Great bar with view of Chao Phraya river and Arun temple. Great morning coffee too!

We chose Chetuphon hotel across from Wat Pho on Maha Rat Road for a one night Bangkok stay. This hotel offered a quiet oasis. We were pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker in the room, a fridge filled with free water and a bathroom outfitted with toiletries. Beautiful room withe comfortable beds included breakfast at The Deck.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arun Residence in February 2015. The location is great, close to Khao Soeng road and Wat Po. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and has an old worls charm to it. Apparently it used to be a mansion which was redone. The rooms are quaint and very beautifully decorated. The restaurants face the river... More

We chose this hotel to end our 6 week trek through Southeast Asia, to end on a high note, with a balcony room across from the Temple of Dawn- wonderful view watching the sun set. We bought a package for 2 nights which included a massage in our room, dinner on the roof, and a canal boat trip. Upon arrival... More
