Hotel is quaint and conveniently located close to several key landmarks / attractions in Bangkok. The Deck has a great view at sunset and decent cocktails. The water can get stinky.... but service is kind.

When we arrived we were told there was a problem with the AC in our room and upgraded to a suite in the sister hotel Sala Arun two blocks away. This turned out to be a blessing because the original room was small (basically a loft), not well lit and had the bathroom at the bottom of the staircase. We... More

The hotel is near to Wat Pho and opposite Arun Wat wherein the suite room has a clear view of the river and wat arun and is totally mesmerizing. We loved relaxing on the Balcony as there was a good breeze and the total setting of the balcony was extremely good. It was actually a boutique hotel. If someone wants... More

On the river over looking 'The Temple Of Dawn' Within walking distance of the sights.Peaceful oasis after a busy day in Bangkok. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Charming, quirky rooms. Fantastic food in the restaurant be sure to book a table for the evening. Some of the best Thai food I've tasted.

The view: bathed all night, the spires of Wat Arun seem to float on the black waters. You literally can’t stay any closer to the sights of Old Bangkok. The comfortable beds encourage you to sleep despite any noise from the river and road. The overall impression is very good.

This is more a B&B, than hotel, it is an old mansion by the river, which has been remodeled. The location is great - on the river, beautiful views of the Wat Arun across the river, very romantic. It is centrally located and close to Wat Pho and the Palace, as well as to a dock station for the river... More

We arrived late at night. We had arranged transfer from the airport to this hotel, through the Arun Residence, for the prearranged price of 1500 baht. This was about three times what, I find out later, the going rate was. We had exchanged dollars for baht in Tokyo on the way. I had given my wife two 500 baht and... More

We stayed there for 1 noght arriving in BKK. Hotel is very well placed along the river, has a nice restaurant terrasse and bar upstairs overlooking the river. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had issue with air conditionning, and have been upgraded to the terrasse suite. Helpful staff, to reccommend !

I start with how I end up booking this Hotel. I read in a magazine about the beautiful scene of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) with picture shooting from a nearby cafe. However I do not like having in a crowded place, and trying to post a picture where too many people around, and you may not get the best... More

My wife and I stayed here for only 1 night, but absolutely loved it. It has a small, homey feel. We splurged for the Arun Suite, and it was totally worth it. The view of Wat Arun was stunning. There are a lot of stairs up to the suite, and it looked like most of the other rooms have a... More
