We chose Chetuphon hotel across from Wat Pho on Maha Rat Road for a one night Bangkok stay. This hotel offered a quiet oasis. We were pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker in the room, a fridge filled with free water and a bathroom outfitted with toiletries. Beautiful room withe comfortable beds included breakfast at The Deck.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arun Residence in February 2015. The location is great, close to Khao Soeng road and Wat Po. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and has an old worls charm to it. Apparently it used to be a mansion which was redone. The rooms are quaint and very beautifully decorated. The restaurants face the river... More

We chose this hotel to end our 6 week trek through Southeast Asia, to end on a high note, with a balcony room across from the Temple of Dawn- wonderful view watching the sun set. We bought a package for 2 nights which included a massage in our room, dinner on the roof, and a canal boat trip. Upon arrival... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Arun Residence in February 2015. The location is fantastic, close to two of the key tourist sites, but also places to go out, such as the Khao Soeng road. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and immaculately furnished. Apparently it used to be a mansion which they repurposed, and you can see the history... More

My husband and I just traveled to Thailand for 10 days for our 20th anniversary. We stayed three nights at the Arun residence and we are so happy we did. It is not near the big hotels but is a easy walk to the big attractions like the grand palace and temples. We easily took the train from the airport... More

Yes we had just one night in Bangkok - 12 hours to be precise. And rather stay in a faceless hotel near the airport we chose this. Wonderful location, great room, nice bar on the roof and the deck restaurant. All very lovely and the view of Wat Arun and the river was marvelous. We had a suite with its... More

We stayed for one night in November 2014 at the Arun Residence. A little tricky to get to because it is so central and Bangkok is very busy! Saying that though the location is perfect for walking to several of the temples and the Grand Palace. The hotel was quaint and quirky. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Would definitely... I did not stay at the hotel, and I probably wouldn't because of the location. It's just not an area I want to be in. I prefer the Silom area with access to public transportation. I visit Bangkok often, and do not need to have The Grand Palace and Wat Po near by, and I would prefer not to be... More

A really charming little hotel. Unbeatable quiet location directly across the river from Wat Arun and steps away from Wat Po. The Grand Palace is just 5 mins by tuk-tuk and the lively Koh San Road area just a little further. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated with alot of character. The staff were friendly and helpful. The... More
