I stayed 9 weeks in Sunrise residence and definitely going back there. Location: located in a very calm area in Sala Daeng, where u can relax but yet very close to Silom nightlife, also close to Silom mrt, Sala Daeng bts, and just across the street from Lumphini park. Staff: the ladies are amazing ! Always smiling, always helpful and... More

The Sunrise Residence is nestled in the heart of Bangkok, a 5 minute walk from the Saladaeng BTS station, and an even shorter walk to Lumpini Park. The people at reception were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. They have a night watchman so security isn't an issue. I'll definitely be staying here on my next... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and find the accommodation satisfactory. It is nothing fancy but basic accommodation in the heart of Bangkok. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. We appreciate that the hotel is close to both MRT Station (Silom) and Skytrain (Saladaeng), that there was adequate air conditioning and that the hotel is... More

This place was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Not only were the rates affordable, the place is very well run and kept and their cleanliness is top notch! The people running the place were very friendly and extremely helpful. I had asked the front desk on how to get to Chaktuchak market and the young man actually... More

I stayed here for one month, 24000 Bath (685 USD) plus utilities. The location is good in a quiet soi, Saladaeng soi 1, within walking distance to Silom road, about 10 minutes. The entrance and lobby was nice, very bright and cozy. It tried very hard to have a boutique feeling (read: expensive), but the place was a guest house,... More

The Sunrise Residence is located in the Silom District off of Saladaeng Road on a quiet soi (lane). It is a five minute walk to the Skytrain and good shopping. The location is great because it's in the center of everything and near to public transportation, but it's on a quiet soi. We stayed there for three nights. We checked... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
