Good thing is hotel is at great location and it's cheap. But that's about it Rooms are really noisy and not really clean. shower toilet combination is too small to be used. Hallway has better shower but not Really good. Better then nothing tho. We are backpacking so all this mattered very little as we only slept in here. But... More

Well for £10 a night you don't expect much...... but the room was tiny and looked dirty, bathroom was almost un use able, the staff weren't helpful and the noise all night from tv's, people talking etc the only saving grace was that the bed was really comfortable

Right away when I got in with a smile on my face there was this woman in the reception who brought a storm cloud over the beautifull sunny day. She wasnt happy to help me in anything. You get a personal wifi password and mine was cleaned away from the table and when I asked for a new one I... More

Excellent location but we did find rooms much nicer and cheaper in the same area. The staff are very unfriendly, hardly acknowledged us even when we were checking in, the room was tiny, bed had springs coming through the mattress and there is a bunch of chickens across the road that cluck all through the night.

We got this Ripon as a freebie add-on to our flights from London to Bangkok. Thank you to the travel agents who gave us this experience after 16 hours flying, they must have a cruel sense of humour. The photographs on here don't tell the picture, I think it must be years before or room was last cleaned, dusty old... More

So me and my girlfriend stayed here twice. Our first time was much better than our second time. It's a quick 5 min walk to the main strip and there are cheap and good food places all around. The rooms are ok. There's no real social area. That being said the staff here are absolutely appalling. There is one in... More

The only good thing is the price, otherwise this place was lousy. Cockrouches, extremly hostile ambience and The staff seemed like they just wanted us to go away. It was Very noisy and wifi only in the lobby, bathroom in the corridoor. Maybe fun if you want to meet other backpackers, we only stayed for o e night.

This place has got alot of stick and I would have to disagree with some of it. Don't get me wrong this isn't the nicest place in the world. Far from it but it is enjoyable. The bar downstairs is cheap and the staff very friendly. Receptionist could do with a touch of personality but were always happy to help... More

We have stayed here for the last 2 nights, it is very basic (but thats a given with the cheap prices), and the location is good. However, because of the location, you can expect loud, drunk people to keep you up throughout the night. On our first night we were woken up by someone being horribly sick in the shared... More

Horrible hotel with very good location, close to Khao San street. Rooms are mostly small and mostly dirty. The lady (boy?) at the reception is the rudest person I ever met in any hotel all over the world. if I'd be a hotel manager, I'd fire her (him?) immediately. If you can afford to find something better, don't hesitate. Unless... More
