Stayed for four nights in September, this was our first trip to Thailand. We normally stay in 4-5 star hotels, but decided to try something different this time - and were really glad we did. This hotel is the most welcoming hotel that we have ever stayed in. It offers an oasis of peace and calm in an otherwise manic... more

We stayed 6 nights at Phanakorn-Nornlen. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. Indeed we appreciated vey much the "off-the beaten paths" tour proposed by the hotel, as well as the breakfast, which is different every day and is prepared with local ingredients. The only problem is the Taxi/Tuk-Tuk drivers do not know it, and sometimes it... more

I went for a girls vacation with my best friend from college and we felt like giddy teenagers in this place. It was really cute and the staff was SO nice. All the amenities we could ever want but organic / environmentally conscious, away from all the big, gross hotels, super close to the inexpensive water taxi that takes you... more

Our first impression when we first arrived at the hotel was: What have we gotten ourselves into? But less than 24-hours later, we had fallen love with the staff and level of service at the Phranakorn-Nornlen Hotel. And the quiet oasis in the middle of the city. As others have described in previous reviews, the rooms are a bit quirky... more

Walking through the gate into the gardens of PN was like coming home! The entire place was built around the nature and garden theme. The rooms were so cute... like little story books, all hand-painted with garden scenes. The rooms, hallways, and gardens were so colorful and peaceful. I could have moved here and been perfectly happy forever! The staff... more

Hi I had a pleasant 3 nites in PN. Non smoking and focus in details are the main 2 reason brought me to PN. I am sensitive to smoke and dust, PN is just perfect for me. Candy dispenser, old cameras, glass balls, sewing machine, old piano brings back memory of good old days. PN is the first “Asian are... more

Family of 4 from Melbourne Australia stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Its a quirky hotel down a laneway that most tourists would normally not look at but step inside and you have a fantastic space decorated in an authentic and fun way - we all loved it. Food was great and the staff were excellent -... more

We were initially a bit lost about where to stay in Bangkok and after a bit of TripAdvisor research we came across Phranakorn-Nornlen. The hotel far exceeded our expectations - the staff were lovely, the food incredible and the location perfect. In a city as manic as Bangkok Phranakorn-Nornlen is a true oasis of calm and after a hard day... more

This place was fantastic. From the second i arrived the staff were fantastically friendly! they were so helpful and accommodating! They were still awake and happy to serve me even though due to a late flight i didn't arrive till nearly 1 in the morning!!! The hotel, if you can call it that offered a friendly homely atmosphere!
