what makes this hotel was the staff, very friendly and always helpful. for a three star hotel it was a pleasant surprise. I will stay again on my next trip. The rooms were large and had a stove top and microwave. The air conditioning worked well. Its location is at the quiet end of soi 4 and a ten minute... more

We three copuples stayed in this hotel for three days. The hotel is very good and comfortable. What is striking is that the staff is very considerate and helpful. We were stranded by our tour operator " Future Star" for two hours on arrival and we had not activated our mobiles. The hotel staff helped establish the communication with them... more

On our first visit to Bangkok, the TAT office booked us into the Royal Ivory for 4 days. The taxi drivers didn't know it as the Royal Ivory (it is small and easily overlooked) but did know it as "Thai Lana" because it has two elephant statues outside its yellow facade. Well, I've seen mixed reviews on here, and yes,... more

I recently stay here for 5 nights and found the hotel to be a very good value. Breakfast was included and the room was large, clean, and serviced well. I have stay at very high end places in my frequent trips to Thailand (e.g. Pennisula, Bayan Tree, Grand Millenium, etc) and thought for the price and location, this was a... more

I arrived at Bangkok and used an airport hotel booking service to book this hotel - I specified near Nana. I arrived in Bangkok late at night and stayed 2 nights, intransit elsewhere. I thought the hotel ok. The room was large and the staff very friendly. I met-up with a friend and that was no problem. The cafe area... more

Our bedsheet had at least 6 strands of hair, but they replaced them for us... with one that was tattered. Some bedsprings didn't feel good on my side. There was a pool of water with tiny bugs in one of the kitchenette drawers. We didn't want to check any others. This is a Thai thing, but the shower is only... more

We've had the bad idea to book this hotel in a travel agency..... Dirty, filthy curtains, in a noisy street with horrible smell coming from everywhere (inside and outside)... As I said, we stayed there 15 minutes, just as much to call the travel agent that booked us to tell him we where going back in his agency to get... more

I booked this hotel because other preferences were full since late December is well into the high season in Thailand. We were upgraded to a 4th floor (larger) room at check-in because, they said, we had booked for 11 nights -- but I suspect the upgrade resulted from my complaining to the online booking agency about having an added charge... more
