We stayed here for four nights and its important for travellers to be aware that its cheaper to book this hotel on line rather than walk in from the street. We initially booked on line for two nights and decided to stay a further two nights to facilitate a visit to the famous outdoor Chatuchack market. Reception quoted us way... More

The room had quality WiFi, and that was the only real plus. It's overpriced and in the sexpat district. Once you get inside the room you will notice there's a menu for room service, but once you call you will be (rudely) informed room service does not exist. The 'free' tuk tuk service will only take you 30m to the... More

I stayed here a few times and I chose this hotel due to its price and location. Although it is on Sukhumvit Soi 4, it takes about 7-10 minute walk from the Nana BTS station to the hotel. Hotel lobby is open and not so appealing with a handful of shops. The restaurant and a small bar are located at... More

The rooms are nice and big, and the staff is helpful. Nana district is a block away, but it isn't noisy. The breakfast buffet is so so, but there is great street food right there. I think it is good value.

I normally stay near MBK or closer to the backpackers area but thought I would give this place a try. I have never been down that far in Sukhumvit. The walk from the Nana sky train was not bad and you can get a ride from a motorcycle taxi for 20B. I arrived and the woman at the front desk... More

Located near to Nana Plaza and main night life centre. The lane contains a lot of Karaoke bars and massage parlors. Still, the hotel is far enough from noise. Roughly 500 meters away from Nana Plaza. Rooms are real large. Bathrooms were clean. They have safety lockers and mini bars filled with liquor and soft drinks , inside rooms. The... More

My experience was not good. I was there with my friend and family. Location is not comfortable for peace lover. Hotel lift is horrible, sensor is not working. Wifi is so slow. Hotel room are big but accessories are mostly expire.

The Royal Ivory has the makings of a good hotel. Unfortunately there are some decidedly unacceptable aspects which mean I can only recommend you avoid it. 1) In 6 weeks in Thailand this was the only hotel to use chip and pin to take payment by card - every other hotel just asked for signature in the old fashioned way.... If you want to stay in the red light district of Bangkok then this is the perfect hotel.... If not, then this hotel has no redeeming qualities. Front desk staff was rude, wifi doesn't work in the room and sitting in the lobby is full of Mosquitos, breakfast was just okay, and surrounding area wasn't great. One positive - the... More
