I think this is an Average Hotel to the Price which we had Paid for, I would have chosen for IBIS hotel just 3 to 4 blocks away from it and would have happily given 500 to 600 INR extra and had a good stay. Rooms are just above average with no view, Swimming pool is more of a Bath... More

Hotel adequate ... Reception area is poor and very unfriendly. Room was excellent, despite a stale smoke smell! Disappointing staff ... All far more interested in their 'phones than the visitors. Just a few minutes from the BTS which is great.

Stayed here for 1 night before I went to pick my family up from Bangkok airport. Staff were good and upgraded me to a suite free of charge on arrival. Decor is a little tired and dated but had a comfortable nights sleep. The hotel has a fantastic tour office downstairs in reception and booked a few trips up with... More

I stayed herefrom 29tth november'2015 to2nd December'2015. I had a pleasant stay. calm and quite inside with central location outside. very close to Nana hotel. They have a small swimming pool on top floor, but yes the swimming pool needs maintenance. Service and cleanliness no doubt its was good.

The Royal Ivory is a mediocre hotel. Its not good its not bad. The room was large and clean. Though the furniture and bed linen is looking very dated and the armrests on the wicker chairs were falling apart My safe didn't work but they told me that at the start and said i could store anything at reception no... Although on the maps indicated that its location is near Nana BTS, but it is very far. When at night, this area's streets are pretty quiet and dark but thank goodness there is 7-11 nearby. The breakfast comes free with the room, but the taste is not that good (I would have preferred to walk over to McDonalds for breakfast... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
