A very well managed 4 star hotel, was previously a Sofitel but now not quite up to that standard. We stayed at the Grand Sukhumvit for 3 nights before going to Phuket. We found this to be the best hotel we have stayed at in Bangkok, lovely 1 bed suite and very efficient friendly staff. Location fantastic for Skytrain and nightlife. We stayed at Tripadvisor 'no.1' in July and was not a patch on The Grand Sukhumvit. Highly recommended. more

Stayed for a few nights as part of business travel and was upgraded to 1 bedroom apartment. The room was huge with separate walk in waldrobe and a living room with a small kitchnette. The big fridge was a plus because you can stock up with all your favourite drinks but just to careful not to be mixed with drinks... more

All round this was a good hotel. The location was very good with lots of bars, restuarants, shopping close by. The rooms were very clean and comfy and anything we needed such as plugs, irons etc were only a phone call away. All aspects of this stay were good, perhaps helped with an upgrade to a suite with kitchen facilities. The only downside was the pool, which had very limited sunny aspects. more
