At 4£ a night you can't complain. Great location next to loads of popular hostels and street food, and a few minutes to the sky train and lumphini park. Friendly staff, bit of a flight of stairs to walk up to the dorm. Perfect for one night on a budget, wouldn't stay here if it's super hot because they turn... More

Stayed in the Siamese Twin room for 2 nights with a mate. The location of this hostel is very good with a skytrain station very close by and a lot of the major bus routes stop pretty much right outside. There is also a reasonable sized night market and food market within a couple of minutes walk. That's pretty much... More

I stayed one night here, it's not a good experience because the floor was very very dirty, the room is full of litters, nobody did the cleaning during the 24 hours of my stay. Will not consider it in the future.

Lots of stairs, hot rooms, tired decor and a tad dirty. Its right on the edge of the Red Light district as well. But if you don't fancy staying in the backpackers area of city and want to be out on Silom Road - its not terrible. I stayed one night - i slept and moved on, probably the best... More

Friendly enough staff and decent location are the only good things I can say about this hostel. The common room is the size of a shoe box, bathrooms were disgusting, I didn't want to touch anything. Six floors with no elevators, the lockers are tiny with no locks provided, I worried about my things being stolen. Beds and pillows hard,... More

My friend and I were really looking forward to being in Bangkok after a delayed flight from Shanghai. When we arrived and walked through the lobby at this hostel immediately there were warning signs that the hostel was not what it described itself as. There was rubbish all over the floor, the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned for... More

This hostel must be your worst hostel easily, so don't even think about it. It's running down, filthy, dark, smelly... I stayed 4-bed dorm, dirty water was leaking from air-con I found it out in the morning, my bag was wet and smelled like sewer. I had to wash all the stuffs in the bag. Wifi doesn't reach to 6th... Booked this place via agoda and it is nothing like the photos. See my comparison photo above. I have travelled around the whole of SE Asia and stayed in over 100 different hostels and this is one of the worst. It's so dirty we didn't want to even go under the sheets. The place is falling apart. The bathrooms are... More

If you have any visa business to do (we had to organise a Myanmar visa), the location is perfect for Silom. It is also good for experiencing patpong markets and shows. The dorm is a little untidy and it is HOT on the top floor but AC comes on 5pm to 11am. Bring a padlock as the lockers all have... More

Owner/Staff- Management doesn't know how to manage their bookings. They sold my room that I stayed in for two days without asking if i was staying or going. I found out at 8pm my last night that I did not have a room for the next day and I had to instigate that conversation. Price- There are cheaper, just not... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
