For a well run hotel with excellent staff, affordable quality rooms in a great location the Dynasty Inn simply cannot be beaten. Been staying there on and off for nearly 15 years. Even the food takes some beating and that's saying something in the food capital of the world. 100% recommended and thank you yet again from Khun Somchai.

always good service, we have been coming for over 15 years and find the place is always clean and tidy. reasonably priced for area and certainly better than others close by. shame there is no pool and that they have introduced a service charge on top of the total bills, not just bill before vat. sure hope the staff are... I love this Hotel and it's my favourite hotel in Bangkok since almost 30 years. I'm living in Pattaya and like to go to Bkk for a weekend. But last weekend I was very unhappy and disappointed. Even I had a room in one of the buildings behind the main house, (I was in the front side of the corner... More

I stayed in this hotel for the first time during my visit in december 2015. I had a pleasant experience and a pleasurable stay. The hotel is quite clean . it is also close to the famous Nana Plaza. The staff were polite and friendly, and their service was satisfactory. If you looking for a decent hotel close to all... More

over all a good deal. compact rooms were not available the last time I was there which was a disappointment. the staff seems well trained and friendly. great location for nighttime entertainment. food is good. rooms fairly clean. what else do you want for 1200 bht per night?

I have stayed here many times. It's okay. But one of my main criticisms is the quality and quantity of TV channels. I don't want to avail myself of the local street entertainment but I do like to watch English channels on TV. For years they had CRT TV's in their compact rooms (in a quiet corner at the back... I can't comment on the hotel as I didn't stay there. My experience is with the lobby coffee shop. Whenever I'm in Bangkok i have my breakfast here but not anymore. The main problem was the waitress. When I walked in there was no greeting & definitely no smile. I ordered Canadian bacon & eggs. (that's the reason I go... More

Just yards from the famous Nana Plaza, this hotel is ideally located. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Free Wifi. Safe in Room. Café / Restaurant at street entrance. Service a little slow, but reasonable value for money.

The Dynasty is in the heart of the naughty nightlife, so if you are bringing a family with you go somewhere else. But if you don't mind the "excitement" around you, this is very good value for the money. It is close to shopping and good restaurants, and it's just off the BTS. It is also only a long walk... I stayed at the dynasty in my first trip to Bangkok in or around 1999. At that time the room rate was 790 baht per night they only had the one building at the time they did not have the new wing. It was very clean perfectly located and very good value. So in December 2014 I decided to maybe... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
